Moving around a lot made it hard to make friends. Rose felt that way as she had been taken from her home in Alola and back to Johto. Rose was always told she was born in Johto but she didn't remember what it was like.

She didn't really get the chance to adapt when she got there because two months in, she was moving away again. Her parents had found another hospital they wanted to try out for her treatments. That time it was in the region known as Kalos.

The Kalos region. Rose was taught a lot about the region. Like how a long time ago there was a war among its people and how a king almost destroyed many lives of innocent Pokemon. She also knew that the region was oriented a lot around stones.

Unlike Alola, with their Z-Move Stones, Kalos had Mega Stones. There were so many Mega Stones for specific Pokemon.

Of course, there was probably more to it than she knew but Rose didn't want to think too much on something that would bother her. Instead, she focused on her two companions: Oricorio and Comfey.

They played in the air together, chasing each other back and forth in a game of tag.

Many people stared at Rose's Pokemon in wonder. Those two Pokemon were not native anywhere else in the world except Alola so it would make sense that they would have been a rare sight to see.

Rose's father finally stepped outside their new house in Santalune City. The Roselia fountain was in sight from where they lived.

Rose looked up at her father and smiled. "Can I go inside now dad?"

"Not yet Rose. Why don't you go and play on Route 4? We are still preparing it."

Rose nodded her head and went on her way. Rose liked her dad, although he paid less attention to her than her mom did. Rose didn't know if he was less concerned, if he had given up or if that was just how he was.

Rose stepped out onto Route 4 and her eyes shone. There were so many flowers! So many flowers she had never seen before!

"Oricorio! Comfey! Look at this! Flowers!" Rose gasped lightly.

Oricorio fluttered to Rose's shoulders and chirped gleefully. Comfey swirled in the air happily.

"Let's check it out!" Rose said.

Rose looked around. There was a much larger fountain with a Clampearl in the centerpiece. Hosea shot out sparkling water at the Clampearl. The sweet aroma of the flowers rose in the air and filled the surrounding area. It was amazing and the verity of colors was mesmerizing to Rose.

The hedges were neatly trimmed. Rose could see further off, gardeners were hard at work keeping the garden looking lovely. Pokemon lived on the route, just like any other. Ledyba and Combee buzzed through the air. Smaller Pokemon such as Budew rustled through the grass and Skitty sunned themselves on rocks and chased their tails.

A Pokemon Rose had never seen before. She stared at them in amazement. What kind of Pokemon was that? Was it a Grass Type? The Kalos Region was definitely full of beautiful Pokemon.

"Hello there," said someone behind her.

Rose turned around startled. "Alola." She said shyly.

He was a small child. Probably Rose's age. He had on a little yellow hat and backpack.

The boy grinned at her. "You aren't from around here, are you? I can hear it in your accent."

"Accent?" Rose squeaked. She hated how shy she was but she hardly ever got the chance to make friends.

"Yeah. You're from Alola. Your Pokemon prove it!" He boasted.

Rose smiled. "I was actually born in Johto. I just lived in Alola for most of my life." Her voice was quiet.
