I nearly broke the lamp sitting in the corner as I threw my shoes off and bolted back out the door, knowing that they would slip off of my feet. There was no point in trying to keep my feet warm knowing that I had to make a quick dash and I couldn't have anything in my way. I bolted out of the door and ran towards the lab that was all the way on the other side of Hades. People stoping and started looking at their president who was half naked and running around frantically, I didn't care about them for one second. The floor was cold and my feet soon became numb as they beat down on the ground, the lab now a short jog away.

I ran quickly to the lab, my heart racing and my head pounding. Elicia looking down at Handsome Jacks lifeless body curiously, relief flowed over my body as I slowly padded my feet over to her. She couldn't stop smiling and writing things down on the clipboard, she stared intently at Jack, his chest moving. My relief soon diminishing.

"Elicia... get over here now." I mumbled, she looked up at me and smiled.

"There you are!" Her voice echoing in through her lab.

"Elicia!" I whispered, "Please come here." I waved her over towards me.

"What's wrong?" She asked innocently.

"First, you break into my living quarters, second you steal personal property, and third you went against my orders and brought Handsome Jack back to life." My voice still hushed.

"Aside from breaking in and stealing stuff, isn't it awesome! He's alive." She whispered back.

"As much as this is a good scientific discovery, this is also a... a mistake."

"W-Why?

"Because I've been having second thoughts, I haven't been thinking maturely... I really should've realized this before." I rubbed my head and thought deeply.

"But you hired me specifically to do this job." She sounded disappointed.

"I know I did... and you've done an amazing job cause he's alive, but I was wrong." My hands gripping tightly onto her shoulders.

"What do we do now?"

"We find a way to disable the cybernetics from his system... brain, however you did it."

"Oh come on, princess." A new voice boomed through the room. "Don't act like you didn't miss me."

"J-Jack!" I spoke nervously, looking beyond Elicia. She soon slipped from the lab and began to run, good.

"Man, I never thought I'd have my real body back," he patted his chest, the watch missing from his coat, "you grew up, huh?" He asked coming over and rubbing my hips up and down, pushing me against the wall.

"A lot happens in four years." I laughed nervously, bringing my hands against my chest.

"Sure does," he continued to look my body up and down, eating me up, "ugh, I've missed you and your body so much." His lips latched onto mine as he pressed me further against the wall.

I felt my hands go up to his chest defensively, wanting to push his body away from mine, but I melted under his surprisingly warm lips. I knew that I shouldn't have, I knew that I had to trust what Rhys had told me to be the truth... I knew. But he swayed me over with his old touch, his hands inching their way up my shirt and gripping onto my breasts, and his mouth as his tongue colliding with mine. He pulled out of the kiss and looked at me very intently, his hands resting back on my hips.

"So, its been a while since I've been alive, who's president of this place?" He nearly laughed.

"M-Me." I stumbled, he looked confused.

"Seriously? How in the hell-"

"I killed the last president who took your place." He raised his eyebrows in shock.

"You have done a lot of growing up, huh?" His face looking like he had just figured something out.

"You have no idea."

"I'm surprised you're alive, how did the vault hunters not kill you?" He asked.

"I... I came in late, something happened... more like a lot of things." I looked away from him.

"What kind of things?"

"Personal things." I nodded.

"Come on Birde, I'm your boyfriend back from the dead and you're not going to tell me what kept you from me? I thought you were dead!" He laughed, trying to hide his nervousness.

"I got into a fight with my brother about you, he thought you were using me and that you were just going to kill me in the end..." he looked at me, his face almost in shock.

"He's wrong." He replied darkly, he caught me off guard in his dark statement.

"During the fight something happened, I changed."

"What, some psycho shoot you in the head cause you're sounding crazy."

I crossed my arms over my chest, my shirt sleeves being short enough to expose the tattoos on my arms. He looked at me up and down before he actually realized what I was implying, he backed away for a moment but only a half step, his expression turning to being surprised.

"You're a siren..." his voice deepened.

"Being a siren sort of runs in the family but only cycles every hundred years, my mother abandoned me and I was adopted by bandits even though I had no signs of being a siren." I closed my eyes for a minute before the shined a bright purple under my glasses. "After another siren had died, I changed, her powers were passed onto me."

"You're lying, you have to be born a siren." He replied, astonished

I pushed both of my hands up to the sides of my body, deploying the translucent purple shield around my body. I opened my eyes as they began glowing once again, Jack still in shock. I let the sheild down quickly and felt my eyes dim once more.

"So... a bandit, siren, and women is now the president of Hyperion." He shrugged his shoulders and looked away.

"What does the fact that I'm a women have to do with anything?"

"Well obviously you're the first female leader so-"

"Good." I interrupted.

"You're definitely more feisty." He crossed his arms.

"People change," I mimicked his stance, "I turned my back on my mistakes, my naivety being my biggest virtue."

"Big words there, cupcake," he curled his finger through my short hair, "why don't you elaborate on what you mean." He tugged on the clump lightly.

"I'm no longer a bandit, I'm the president of Hyperion and I have made Pandora ten times better than what it was before." I brought my hands to my sides and curled my hands into fists.

"You better watch your mouth, I was going to fix Pandora, I'm guessing those bandits pals of yours are still alive?"

"They were all killed trying to protect you." I nearly hissed back.

"Maybe that's a good thing." He looked away from me.

"My brother died during that fight as well." I clenched my fists.

"You really think I was going to let half of those bandits live? You really can be naive," He laughed, "my naive, little, girl."

He walked up to me and grabbed me by my forearm, shoving a stun rod directly into my spin. My body jolted forward as the pain only increased, I screamed as he held me in his arms and pressed my head into his chest to muffle them.
