I woke up to more psychotic screaming coming from down in the base, I growled before leaping out of my shitty bed and pulling my mask over my face. I grabbed my sniper and made my way down the stairs as quick as possible, just as I suspected. Another group of Spiderants had invaded the camp. Another bandit, Percy stood next to the open door.

"How's it going Birde?" He asked in a muffled tone under the mask.

"Same shit, different day." I spoke, shooting a Spiderant right in its abdomen, watching it explode.

As soon as I got through the center I ended up killing most of them, getting covered in their disgusting goop and random body parts. I let out a frustrated sigh before pulling my mask off of my sweaty face and taking in the humid Pandoran air, I looked back at the rest of the bandits as they gave me a very confused look.

"Back to your positions." I shouted half heartedly.

I watched as the men dispersed back into their spots, pointing their guns around the area. I walked back towards the building, opening the door only to hear Percy speak more clearly this time.

"Do you really think all those rumors about Handsome Jack coming to kill us are true?" His high pitched voice invading my ears.

"I don't know, I wouldn't doubt it when it comes to him." I replied, pushing on the door.

"We've done so much for him and this is how he repays us?" He hissed, following behind me.

"It's the business and this is Pandora, nothing is fair."

"Why don't we just kill him?" He growled, I furrowed my eyebrows before turning on my heels.

"If we kill him then we're dead, got it?" I barked back, pointing a finger in his face.

He seemed surprised and even backed up some, I had that effect on the other bandits when I would get angry. They knew not to fuck with me and my short temper, I pulled my hand back to my side before letting out a relaxed sigh and stepping back.

"I can see you want to be alone." His voice quiet.

"It would be nice, yes."

He walked off, not saying another word which I was so grateful for because he just ticks me off so much. I walked back into my room, closing and locking the door behind me, I felt butterflies move around in my stomach as I pulled out a tiny lock box out from under my bed.

I unlatched it and pulled out small printed pictures and a few posters that I stole. I unrolled them and looked at the man who stood proudly on these tattered pieces of paper, I remember when these first started appearing around Pandora and the man had presented himself so perfectly on them. I looked through the small and nearly torn pieces of paper and wished that they were in better condition, the man looking wrinkled and dusty.

Handsome Jack was my hero... He was everything I aspired to be, I wanted to be the president of a large company and have people fear me. I wanted to be on posters that converted people to work for me, I wanted to have more purpose than just some bandit that kills the life here on Pandora. I want to bring it back, make it better and have people adore me the way I adore Jack.

There was sudden knock at my door before the handle started to jiggle. I panicked and shoved everything back into the box and throwing it under my bed.

"Hold on, quit doing that or you'll break it."

I stood back up and unlocked the door, my brother pushing his way in almost instantly. I groaned as he pulled me into his arms and hugged me tightly, he was just on a large mission and is now back to annoy me just the same.

"Bone Head put me down!" I yelled, wiggling in his arms.

"Come on," he laughed, "didn't ya' miss me?" He placed me down on the floor.

"Well I was running the new bandit camp quiet smoothly by myself ." I replied, crossing my arms.

"Yes, the multiple spiderant infestations have really showed that." He laughed, punching my arm.

"It's not my fault your men are idiotic."

"When I'm gone they're your men."

"Bite me." I growled.

"If you insist." He walked towards me with his hands up in a grabbing motion.

"Do it and die." I pulled my knife from my pocket.

"Jeez, I guess being in power has really changed you, huh?"

"It wasn't my choice." I replied, shrugging my shoulders.

"Well, I've actually come here with a great offer for you... and for me but I've already agree-"

"Just get on with it Bone Head."

"Well, Handsome Jack wants us to fend off the vault hunters since they're getting close to his bunker and the vault."

"H-Handsome Jack?" I muttered.

"Yes, you in or not? I gotta know now cause we're leaving tomorrow morning."

I contemplated this idea, he wanted us... well he wanted my brother but still. I could see him, meet him, and even ask him about his rise to the top, I felt my stomach flip.

"I'll do it." I smiled, nodding my head.

"Great, pack your things and meet me in the dinning area, we're having big feast before we leave just incase we don't make it back."

He left the room and let me be alone, I thought of everything that could happen. I thought about how we might not make it back, but I can take on some vault hunters. Maybe Jack would help us in case we would need it, I highly doubt it but maybe he'd have a change of heart.

I grabbed my bag out from under my bed and began packing it; clothes, ammunition, health kit, and even a blanket. I thought for a moment before grabbing the lock box out from under the bed and pushing it all the way to the bottom, I smiled before zipping it up and placing it on my bed.
