Mitsuki x Reader (Rin)

Adjusting without Mitsuki

I woke up next to Inojin, he was still asleep, he didn't look as cute as Mitsuki did asleep, but he's just a hookup so I guess it doesn't matter, I haven't seen Mitsuki in a few weeks, we're still in the land of tea, our target hasn't shown up yet, I'm not why we haven't just gone by boat yet, we would have gotten there a long time ago. Still it's given me time to reflect what's happening between me Inojin, and Mitsuki. I still love Mitsuki, I'm just waiting for him to come back, and
Once that happens, I'm gonna end things with Inojin, but until that happens, I might as well stay in shape. I woke up, and got out of bed, I stretched and bent over to get my clothes out of the dresser, when suddenly a sharp pain hit my backside, it was Inojin, he woke up and saw me bent over and he smacked me on the ass. "Why!" I asked angrily. "I don't know, i thought you wanted me to, in sorry," he said blushing. " hey, I have a question," he asked after I was done changing. "Yeah," I responded sitting down on the bed. "Who do you like more, me or Mitsuki?" He asked, tilting his head. "I like Mitsuki more, I'm sorry, I still love him," I said. Inojin's expression didn't change at all, he just sat back down in bed. "I won't tell him what we've been doing," I just want things to go back to normal when he gets back". He looked down when he said this, I got back on the bed, and I said " I'm sorry, I shouldn't have phrased it like that, I do enjoy spending time with you, I just can't leave Mitsuki, he's perfect to me, I can't leave him". Inojin looked right into my eyes, while I was talking, and said, "well he's not here now is he?" He asked. "Well clearly he isn't," I said. " well then let's make most of the time we have together," he said, he looked like he was pleading me with his eyes. "Sure, where do you want to go?" I asked while sliding back into bed with him, he rest his head on my chest and said "what about yoshi's?" He wondered. "Oo I love their veggie stir-fry, and their grilled pork is amazing, Inojin said. I looked down when he said that, grilled pork was the reason me and Mitsuki met in the first place. "Yeah, lets go, I said, Inojin jumped out of bed and got changed. We both headed out the hotel and onto a street, a voice came from behind us, what're the two of you doing out this late? I turned around, to see a man, he was carrying something, it was hard to see at night. Konohamaru "sensei?" I asked. "No," the man said, before I can react, he sprayed something in my face, I started to fall, the entire world was twisting around, my  vision was reduced to a single pinhole,  Inojin caught me and started yelling my name, then I saw the man hit Inojin over the head with a club, then I passed out.
