Monster attacks

(Two weeks later)

I stood up and stretched, I was finally back in peak performance. My joints cracked and snapped, I hadn't moved some of them in a long time, it felt good to be able to walk. I walked over to Mitsuki, he was still asleep in the corner of the cave, he was sprawled out along the floor. I sat down next to him, and nudged him awake. "Hi," he said in a raspy morning voice. "I'm all better now we can go now, we can head back to the land of tea," I said to him excitedly. He just looked at me. "What's wrong?" I asked him. "I don't know, I just, I've really enjoyed spending time with you, alone, I just need to get adjusted to being around other people again". I nodded, then I stood up and pulled Mitsuki up by his arm, he jumped up and hugged me, he pulled me in close and whispered in my ear "I don't want to leave," he started to suck on my earlobe, he pulled me in closer to him, and he used his hand to start to take off my shirt. "Are you trying to stall by using sex?" I asked him. His face got all red "maybe," he said. "Does that make me bad?" He asked sincerely. "No, actually it was just unexpected," i said. He giggled I headed to the mouth of the cave, I started to weave handsigns. "Lava style: dissolving jutsu!" The rock melted away, the hot bubbling lava slowly moved its way across the floor, until it hardened into stone. The sunlight beat down on us,my eyes took time to adjust to the brightness. I looked out at the scenery, we were beside the waterfall, now that I could see, I looked down into the water, I thought I saw something moving. I looked up, and saw a rainbow arching above the waterfall, the trees were just starting to bloom, their pink petals raining down over the pond. The pond water was a dark brown-red, and the petals danced above the surface before the pond engulfed them.
my eyes took time to adjust to the brightness. I looked out at the scenery, we were beside the waterfall, now that I could see, I looked down into the water, I thought I saw something moving. I looked up, and saw a rainbow arching above the waterfall, the trees were just starting to bloom, their pink petals raining down over the pond. The pond water was a dark brown-red, and the petals danced above the surface before the pond engulfed them. Suddenly there was movement in the pond, a large dark figure darted around, suddenly it breached and jumped out of the water towards me. I could see it clearly now, it had two large eyes, each surrounded by four smaller eyes, it's brown skin blended in perfectly with the color of the pond. It's mouth opened revealing a row of blade like teeth. It let forth a giant cry, it's sound echoed off the sides of the valley, it was a high pitched ear splitting cry, covered my ears. Mitsuki ran out and yelled "what is that thing?" "It's the monster that attacked me" I yelled back to him, barely able to hear what we were saying to each other. Mitsuki started to weave signs, he quickly released a lightning style jutsu, the lightning forked off his hands and shot outwards towards the beast, the lightning was deflected by the beasts skin, it was unfazed. It was floating in midair, it stopped screeching and stared at Mitsuki, malice in its eyes.
The creature lurched towards Mitsuki, who jumped in the air and landed on a rock above the monster. I jumped back onto the pond, I started to weave handsigns."WATER STYLE SUPER WATER SHOCKBOMB," (decided to make my own, hope the name isn't too cringe 😝)  water formed by my hands, water shot up at the beast. I ran over to Mitsuki, and I tackled him to the ground, the water wrapped around the monster, the water started to swirl around into a a vicious whirlpool, dropplets of water went flying everywhere the water cut through some of the rock form, rocks toppled down on top of the torrent of water and were engulfed into the swirling mix of sand and monster and water. After a couple of seconds the water plopped back onto the shore, and slowly slipped its way back into the pond. The creature lay on the shore, cuts covering its body. Mitsuki held me close, his eyes shaking, he looked at the monster and screamed "NO AODA!" He ran over tears in his eyes. "What are you doing here?!" "I came to warn you...... about...... your mission..........the cult....... is more powerful..... than first thought.......... you must........ turn back.............don't.......be foolish". Aoda's eyes shut, his body was still moving, I walked over to aoda, and I put my hand on aoda's side and focused on mending his wounds, I felt something on my arm, it was Mitsuki he was helping me heal him. After a couple of seconds Aoda's eyes opened up. He looked in my eyes, there was kindness this time. I smiled and he blinked, I then realized that he couldn't really smile back, I started laughing.
