"I'm just glad that you didn't fight her." Papa said, as he put a piece of steak in his mouth.

Linda, as always, had nothing to say. She would keep quiet all the time, unless she was interested in my life. Which she's not.....

I look at my dinner. The steak reminds me of when it was my last Christmas dinner with mom.

She would cook for the whole neighbourhood because, she thought that not everybody had something to eat sometimes during the holiday.

I breathed heavily, I suddenly felt tears flow down my cheeks and onto the food.

I looked at Papa. He mouthed the words 'Go' and I got up and ran towards my room.

Its not like I was gonna eat anyways. I always thought that Linda would poison my food. Good thing I always save my money and buy something to eat on my way home. Or, if I didn't have any money, I would literally starve myself.

I threw myself on the bed and hugged my pillow. I immediately felt the fat tears falling down my cheeks and I couldn't help but let them fall.

There are tears flowing freely down my face, visions and memories fill my brain. My thoughts drown me into a deep dark hole, which only leads to nothing but pure suicidal attempts and negativity.

I sobbed, I sobbed and then I sobbed some more. The pain was too hard to bare. With everything going on, and my life moving so fast, I only pray to The Almighty God that he will deliver.

I took out my Bible. Not looking for any scripture in particular, but just a scripture to read.

Psalm 130:1-2 reads:
1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.

2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

The two verses seemed as if it was dedicated to me. You know, like telling me something. But then again, the Bible teaches you something new everyday. It never gets old, its always endless with advise.

After reading the verse for what seems like a hundred times, I suddenly felt sleepy, so I said my prayers.

Dear God, thank you for taking me throughout the day, and I thank you for protecting and guiding me.

As I close my eyes and go to sleep, I pray that there will be no nightmares.

Bless my family. Protect my enemies, Save my friends.

I thank you for food on the table and clothes to wear. I thank you for dying on the cross for me and with that said, I am thankful.
