Julia's POV

"Guys, I'm so excited for the ball tomorrow." Alex squeals as he jumps up and down.

"No no no. Don't do that,  squealing is my job." Ethan sasses.

"Whatever."

"Can you guys at least come to the mall with Julia and I?" Drake whines.

"Sure. I need to buy something for the ball anyways." Jace says. "How about you guys?"

"Oh yeah we were going to go even if Drake didn't ask." Alexander says.

"You guys are the best." Drake says, the sarcasm evident in his tone.

"I'll be in the food court, you know, to eat food, in the court." Alex says.

"Whatever." Drake rolls his eyes.

...........

"Okay guys we're here." Alexander says as we arrive at Target.

Why do they call it Target by the way? Is it because one you buy stuff there you've hit the right target or something? I laugh at my fail attempt to make a joke and walk out of the car as Drake offers me his hand.

"Weh Jace deh?" I ask. I don't see him.

"Oh he'll be coming shortly. He just had to do a few things." Lucas says and I nod my head.

"Enough with the jibber-jabber, let's go." Ethan squeals and we run inside.

.............

"Mi doe wah wear nuh dress." I say as Lucas hands me a red sparkling dress. I just don't like wearing dresses and I sure as hell won't wear any high heels. I'm a girl but keep in mind that I'm a tomboy.

"Well what are you going to wear?" Alexander asks. "You have to wear something."

"It haffi be one dress?" I whine.

"Yaass gurl. It has to." Ethan sasses and I roll my eyes playfully.

"Isn't there anyting else mi can wear?" I groan.

"Just try something that you feel comfortable in Julia." Alexander says and I smile wickedly. "Except for jeans and a shirt." He finalises and my smile falls into a frown.

"Go." Lucas says.

"Yes Julia, I need to see those curves of yours." Drake says and I roll my eyes.

I walk towards another stand and look for a clothes that doesn't make me gag. I find a peach dress with no strap and it is basically the length of my body with a part that is separated from my upper half.

I try it on in the changing room and come out to look at myself in the mirror. I see some girls with the most beautiful clothes on and they look absolutely beautiful. They leave and I'm left alone. I look at myself in the full body mirror and a tear falls on my cheek

I'm so ugly...

I look at my face.

I'm not beautiful...

I look at my slim waist and slim body.

I need to eat more...

By the time I finish with my self pity, my cheeks are soaked with tears. I quickly wipe, making sure that no tear stain is visible.
