Chapter 10

After getting my classes with Harry, he made me fall a little more for him. I mean he’s cool, funny and I’m not going to lie but cute too. It turns out I have him for all my classes except History. I was suspicious at first finding out that he had all my classes but I just brushed away. He’s not too smart to do that if you know what I mean.

“ Delilah meet Jacky my friend.” Harry says during lunch. I turn to Jacky and I noticed she is gorgeous. Brunette hair with long eyelashes, thick eyebrows, I mean she’s beautiful.

“ Pshhh, his girlfriend more like it. Wassup.” She says looking at Harry as if he pronounced her name wrong. I feel this kind of jealousy but I brush it off really easily.

“ Hey” I manage to say without sounding as if I was hurt. I mean what’s the point of leading me in this process to finding out he has a girl. What the hell that’s just stupid.

“ Shut up Jacky. We only been together for a couple of hours.” He says sounding a little pissed. What the  hell does he mean a couple of hours? I’m so lost.

“ Sure if you say so.” She says rolling her eyes.

“ Uhm… I’m going to go find some friends catch you later.” I say turning around. I’m hoping for Harry to come with me but I had my hopes high up that it didn’t come true.

I wasted all my lunch looking for Andrew and Kaylee and I didn’t find him. The bell rings and I grab my schedule and it turns out I have History. Thank you Jesus! I walk to classroom slowly not trying to get there first and when I walk in, it turns out I’m late. I hand my schedule to my teacher Mr. V and I go to a empty desk. The topic I’m learning is all review for me. After being in class for 15 minutes I feel nauseas. Everybody is concentrating on their classwork so I get up and ask for permission to go to the restroom.

“ Sure Delilah. You know where it is right?” Mr. V asks.

“ Yeah” I say. I head out and start walking to the restrooms. That’s when I hear voices on the hallways.

“ What the fuck are you trying to do huh? You like that bitch huh? Go fuck yourself Harry.” A girl says. Harry? I peek and see Jacky and Harry standing in the corner.

“ Nope I only want you babe but you know how I like to ruin people. Seeing them suffer makes me feel powerful.” He says. He’s trying to make me suffer? But why? I feel a tear at the corner of my eye.

“ Yeah after getting me in bed you want me right?.” She says with a smirk. I turn before they say more and run to the restrooms. My heart feels like it’s a drum beating so fast and the nauseous feeling is worst as ever. I can’t go back to class like this. I look up and see a window. I check if it’s open and it is. I open it and throw my backpack outside. I stand on one of the stalls and hop on the window throwing myself out. I grab my stuff and start heading north. There’s a hill and a tree all the way to the top. I guess for ditching right? When I get to the top I lie under the tree and stare at the clouds. I don’t want to think of the conversation so I get my earphones program my phone to alert me school is over at 3 o’clock. I put my songs in to shuffle and close my eyes to the song Under the Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers.

My alarm goes off making me jump. I get up and start heading to the parking lot. I feel like crap and I know I look like crap. I’m deciding to walk home when I see Josh on his motorcycle in front of the whole crowd. As soon as he sees me he puts on a huge smile. I grin while running to him. I grab him and hug him never wanting to let go. And I’m guessing he feels the same way by the way he’s holding on tight.

“ You came.” I say with tears running down my face. I know people are staring but for the first time I don’t give a crap. He smiles.

“ Of course. I guess I could ditch a day to go see my best friend.” He says with a wink. Ditch pssh.. he means leaving Georgia to come to Australia. I smile and hit his shoulder lightly.

“ Hop on. Here put on your helmet and enjoy the ride.” He says smiling like a idiot. I laugh and follow his orders. I look sideways and see Harry standing at the door of the school looking as if he ate something disgusting. That makes me smirk. I guess two people can play right? I hear the motorcycle turn on and I head on a adventure with Josh to some place special.
