I cross my arms and lean against the door wall.

“What are you doing here? Are you always stalking me?” I ask. Why can’t he leave me alone? I’m tired and the vision has me shaken up.

“No I want to explain. Why are you so stubborn?” he asks. Me stubborn? Please he hasn’t seen stubborn.

“ because I am. Leave me alone Harry please. I had a great day with Josh and I don’t want your stupidity to ruin it. Now go back and run to Jacky if you want I’m done.” And with that I grab the door and try to close it but Harry pushes it back open. I roll my eyes. I don’t want to fight but I guess I have to.

“Why Harry? Why can’t you leave me alone? You have all the girls by your feet and all these girls who will love to be with you for a one night stand so why bother me? I’m tired, I haven’t gotten really good sleep and I literally regret meeting you right now. Happy? You ruined my life and probably fucked up my relationship life too. First answer this why me?” I ask. I feel tears forming but I push it back. I’m not going to be weak.

“Delilah I know you think I’m an asshole and a womanizer but you have to understand you’re the first girl to..” before he can say more a pretty girl comes in.

“Hello.” She says. I gasp and I feel my blood turn ice cold. Why would he bring a girl when he’s trying to apologize for his mistake? It’s done.

“NO NO! Delilah this is my sister.” Harry says. I look at her and she’s really pretty.

“Hello my name Gemma and you’re Delilah right?” she says with a cheerful voice. I sigh.

“Hello and yeah my name is Delilah.” I say with an exhausted voice. I’m just so tired..

“Well you guys should talk I will get food for you girls. Is a cheeseburger with fries okay?” Harry asks. What the hell? He’s leaving me with his sister alone? Awkward!

“Sure” Gemma and I say in unison. We both look at each and give a small smile. I look back at Harry and he just nods before leaving. We stay alone and I swear I don’t know where to start. I cough and I could feel the air turning to really awkward.

“You changed his life you know.” She finally says. I look up at her and I see sincerity in her eyes.

“Do you know what he did to me?”

“Yes but it’s not the story you believe. He didn’t cheat and there wasn’t a bet you have to believe.” She says. I sigh and go to the living room. I sit on the couch and I watch her sit next to me.

“I want to believe but how?” I ask. She gives me a sad smile.

“Do you know about his childhood?” she asks. I shake my head.

“Well our parents got divorced for the reason of my mom being abusive. You might have thought my dad but no it was actually my mom. Well Harry is so protective over me and I’m proud of it. However, the next things I’m going to say I’m not so proud for what he did for me. My dad would always work and we wouldn’t see him that much so my mom was the one who would take care of us. She had a drinking problem and she would constantly be drinking at any time of the day. Harry was probably 8 years old when my mom started to get aggressive. She would whip him with a chain and would also grab me but Harry didn’t let her hit me so he would take the blows. I just…” and her voice cracks a little.

“I just want his life to become normal. This went on for 4 years until my dad divorced her and she left us. The cheerful Harry was never brought to life until now. He would always ignore the question if he was fine; he fooled with girls because he thought they should be punished. The day that you came and you guys talked he changed. He started to ask how my day was, he would be smiling at random times and his anger issues would decrease. However, his past life will always haunt him. His scars will be a reminder of the battle he fought when he was a child.”
