Dream Breaker

Chapter 17

Its 7:30 and I’m dressed with blue skinny jeans, a knitted white v shirt, a long necklace and sandals. I’m really not the type of girl who dresses really nice; I mean this is how far I could go. I make a braid crown with my hair over my forehead and head. I look at myself in the mirror and I look much better now than I was a week and I owe it to Josh and Harry.

I receive a message from Harry to go outside so I grab my sweater and head out. I get in the car and see that Harry’s dressed casual too. I smile.

“Hello babe.” He leans down and kisses my lips.

“Hey” I say after the passionate kiss.

“I’m sorry but I have to cover your eyes again.” I grumbled but nod. He covers my eyes and gives me a light kiss on my lips. I smile. The whole ride Harry tells me jokes but some are not funny so I fake laugh the whole time. We come to a halt and I know we are here. I’m smiling so big that I feel my smile will turn permanent. Harry opens my door and grabs my hand.

“I need to carry you babe.”

“Why?” I ask.

“Don’t want you to know the surprise.” And with that he lifts me up and starts to walk. I put my arms around his neck and place my head on his shoulder. I feel warm breath breathing down my neck. I put my nose close to his shirt and I smell cologne. The smell is so intoxicating it wants me to keep his shirt after this.  What the hell am I thinking? After a few minutes he puts me down. I feel grass under my toes and hear birds.

“Okay …Uhm I wanted this way different from any date because you are way different from any girl. You deserve something special. Are you ready?” he asks.

I smile. “Of course.” He moves my head a little making me look down and unfolds the bandana. And I’m in shock.

 I’m staring down at a pond with little blue lights under the water. It makes the water magical and full of light. You could see Lilly pads on the water and some starfish under. I feel warm tears run down my face. I turn away from the magical water to look at Harry and he’s staring at me. He moves a little to the side and I see small fake roses that light up leading a path to the bridge over the pond. My mouth falls open and I turn away from the scenario to look at Harry. He has a shy smile on.

“You did this? For me…but….how….why?” I stumble. It makes him laugh.

“You are special to me. Go ahead touch the water it’s really warm.” He says. I lift my eyebrow as questioning him but he ignores me. I get down on my knees and lean down to the touch water. It’s actually warm. Before I know it I feel a push and I’m in the water.

“WHAT THE HELL HARRY!” I scream at him. He smirks and dives in with me. When he comes back to the surface he grabs me and kisses me. I’m stunned and happy. He pulls away from the kiss.

“Surprise!”

“Thanks but look I’m soaked wet and you’re the reason why.” I say.

“Wet? For me? Aww baby you got too excited?” he smirks. I slap his arm lightly making him hug me tighter.

“C’mon let’s eat.” He says. We get out of the water soaked wet and laughing. It’s not cold which makes the night better. We walk towards the bridge with his warm hand holding mine. When we get there he’s put a small picnic on top of the bridge. We eat together smiling and telling stories about our lives. When we are finished we go back down and lay next to the pond to look at the stars.

“I bought you something.” He says when we lay down. I look away from the stars and look at his green eyes.

“You shouldn’t have. I mean this is perfect and nope I can’t accept it.” I tell him.

“I don’t care.” He gets up and pulls a box out. He opens it and I see a heart key necklace. I’m shocked.

 He pulls out his necklace and I see a heart with a small anchor on it. “The heart represents mine and without you it sinks which represents the anchor. And you have the key to my heart.”

“You are my one and only love.” He finally says. I sit up and throw myself at him making him fall. I kiss him furiously and he does the same. I feel his hands hold my waist and go down to my thighs. I break away from the kiss.

“C’mon let’s go.” He says. We get up and go home. When we get to my house I see Harry park his car in front of my driveway.

“What are you doing?” I ask him.

“Coming in. Wait can I come in please?” he asks. I smirk but say yes.

 We walk inside my house going directly into my room quietly.

I’ll tell you this if I knew what was going to happen tonight I wouldn’t have said yes to him…... But I’m not regretting anything…
