We finally reach the house.God I've missed this place I think to myself.Dan grabs my bag off me whilst I carefully walk into the house.Cookie and Hugo run over to me instantly nocking me to the ground licking my face.
"Ello you both missed me ??"
I give them both a little stroke then head to the sofa instantly collapsing on it.
"God I've missed this"
"Mum dad I have football practice see you in a bit!!"Dan shouts heading out the door
"See you in a bit mate good luck"I shout before I hear the door slam shut
"We're on pick up duty"dawn says sitting on the end off the sofa where my feet are
"So the girls are at my mums Dan out Mm a little time to ourselves"I say pulling her onto my knee
"No Gary you heard doctors orders"
"Oh come on"I say pouting
"Mr Barlow that's not gonna work on me"
"Fine"
5 hours later ..................
I closed the piano top and chucked my hoodie on and started my way down the stairs.
"Babe am going picking the boys up and picking the girls up form my mums I won't be long!"
"What no your not going am going you stay here and rest"
"No am ready to go I was thinking why don't you have a bit off relax time run yourself a bath or whatever you want and I'll take the kids out for ice cream or something"
"Only if your positive"
"Ye am positive you go and have some relax time you've been on your feet for the past couple of months"
She smiles and heads upstairs
I jump in the car then head to Dan football practice.
I stand with the other mums which they haven't yet seen me thank god !! However when Dan she's me his face lights up.
When practice is over him and his friend Luke jump in the car.
"Where's mum"
"She's at home relaxing I was thinking we go pick the girls up and we can go grab I cream and Luke you can come if you want to I've asked your mum and she said its fine"
"Yeah if that's alright with you"Luke says putting his seat belt on
"Yeah that's perfectly fine with me mate"I say starting the tang rover
"How are you now after your accident?"Luke asks me
"Am good mate just a little sore here and there but am getting there"
"Good"he says smiling
