Jason's POV
Dezi told me everything...and that scares me how she puts all that trust in me...I like her, she likes me.
I leave the room to give her space.
After a few minutes, I come back in and see Tina and Jeremy leave with Dezi in tears in bed.
I walk up to her and hold her hand. "Hey..."
"Hi." She smiles and hugs me.
I hug back and I just hold her. I don't let go, because I know she's scared and she needs this even if she doesn't want it.
She starts crying and that turns into scattered sobs.
"Hey...shh..." I move and sit beside her. I let her lean on me and I rub her back. I make her look at me. "Please...stop crying."
She calms down a little and rests her forehead against mine.
I pet her cheek and we separate a little when her mom comes in. "You're alright." I say quietly.
She nods and smiles.
I kiss her forehead and get up slowly. I leave the room and go home to eat.
Dezi's POV
My mom tells me I can come home and we sign the papers. She takes me home and I text everyone. She makes my favorite meal and we eat together in my bed.
Tina comes over for the night and we stay up watching movies. She helps me sleep as she falls asleep.
When I wake up, I see Jason, about to leave my room. "Hey." I say weakly.
He stops and turns to see me with a smile. "Hey..." He sits next to me. "I'm glad you're home and everything. Being in a hospital is pretty overwhelming."
I nod and start typing. *Most definitely.* I smile at him.
He chuckles and looks down as he holds my hand.
"You two should be a couple." Tina says, which makes us jump. She sits up and makes us look at each other. "Kiss."
My eyes go wide and Jason starts to freak out. I shake my head.
"Why? Just a kiss." She smirks.
"Okay...sure." Jason says.
I nod and Jason kisses me quickly then pulls away.
"Done." He gets up and leaves.
I touch my lips and look at my fingers. I was just kissed by the boy I like...
