"I dont know I'm just really scared" I said. Mama sighed and rubbed my shoulder. "Its gonna be okay" She said trying to make me feel better. I nodded my head and started biting on my bottom lip nervous.

"Did Zion make it yet?" I asked. Mama sighed. "Not yet and I know you need him right now" I nodded my head and kept checking my phone when the door opened.

"Hey you okay?" Zion asked. I smiled. "Yea I'm okay, they still didn't come back yet with the results" I said. He nodded his head and kissed my forehead. Mama cleared her throat.

"How you doing Mrs. Woods?" Zion asked. I smiled. Despite how she treated him in the past Zion didn't hold a grudge and since Mama came through and actually looked at him like a real person.

I'm surprised, but my mother doesn't have a hateful bone in her body. "I'm fine, I..Heard what happened at the school I'm sorry" Zion shrugged his shoulders.

"Didn't like the job anyways, it was meant to happen" He said. I was silent kinda sad he wouldn't be my teacher anymore.

"Well let's just hope the baby's alright" Mama said. I nodded in agreement as the door opened revealing Dr. Greene with a clipboard and smile on his face. Good news?

"How are y'all today?" He asked. "Fine" we all answered. He took a breath and looked down at his clipboard. "So there's good news and then there's the bad news" He said.

I looked up at Zion who had the same face expression as I had. "What is it?" Mama asked. "The good news is..The baby is slowly recovering" I smiled.

"And the bad news is that what I was saying is right..the child may have behavior problems and possibly learning" I nodded slowly. "There isn't anything you could do to stop that?" Mama asked.

Dr. Greene shook his head. "No i'm afraid not, and to be honest this baby wasn't supposed to make it this long" my smile became wider.

"That's a miracle" He said.

"Yea it is" Zion squeezed my hand. "I advise you to say for the next three days just to make sure..But congratulations" I smiled. "Thank you" He stepped out the room leaving Zion, Mama and I alone.

"Looks like we'll have a Lil bad ass running around" Zion said. I laughed and slapped his arm. "My bad Mrs. Woods" He said. She shook her head and stood up. "Don't worry about it I'm happy for you both"

"Thanks Mama"

"No problem, I'll leave you two alone" she said. She kissed my forehead before walking out the door. "So" I smiled. "Sooo" Zion smiled and kissed my lips. "I told you he'll be okay" I slightly rolled my eyes.

"Yes she will" Zion smacked his lips. "I guess" "What are you gonna do about work?" I asked. He sighed a little. "Dont know, maybe I'll open up that restaurant" I smiled.

"Really?"

He nodded his head. "Yup, for the two of us and the baby" I nodded. "Sounds great" "Yea and I wanna talk to you about something else to" I raised a brow. "About?"

He sighed again. "Thanksgiving is coming up..And my family wants to meet you, you know officially" My eyes shot open. "Really?" he nodded.

"Yea, you dont-" "No I want to" He shook his head. "Before you meet them I just wanna say sorry" I smiled. "How bad can they be?" I asked. "My older brother is the worst one" he said.

"Well I'll be the judge of that, can't be any worse than my family"  I mumbled. "Damn I'm sorry" I waved him off. "My Mama knew the whole time, whatever she does is her business" I said.

Zion nodded in agreement.
