I knocked on the door patiently waiting for someone to answer. I folded my arms across my chest looking around the peaceful neighborhood. When I heard the door unlock I looked in front of me and saw Mrs. Coly.
When she saw me her eyes shot up. "Anastasia?" I smiled. "Hi." She pulled me into a tight hug. "How have you been? Its been all over the news are you alright?" She asked.
I smiled. "Im fine." I said. She smiled and pinched my cheek. "I'm glad to hear it. How's the baby?" "He's fine." "You had a boy?" I nodded. "His name is Kelly."
"Kelly, that's a unique unisex name for a boy." "Thank you." "No problem sweetheart, do you wanna come inside?" She asked. I shook my head.
"No there's some there I have to be but is Lucas here?" I asked. She smiled. "Yea wait right here." She said. I nodded my head and she walked inside her house.
"Lucas! Get yo red ass down here!" She yelled. I smiled. I heard footsteps coming from upstairs. "What?"
"Nigga dont what me! Someone came by to see you." She said. I bit down on my bottom lip a little nerves. Lucas walked up to the door and frowned when he saw me.
"Hey."
I said. He pulled me into a hug. I laughed and hugged back. He pulled away and examined me. "How you are?"
"I'm fine, I just came by to see you and to say that I'm sorry. I'm trying not to give you the same speech I just gave Amara." "Sorry about what?" He asked.
"The thing about stealing your phone and slapping you, turns out that whole thing was a set up. I'm sorry." I said. He shook his head.
"No I'm sorry for not being there when you needed me the most. I should've been a better friend." I nodded. "Apology accepted." He smiled. "So the baby?"
"Alive and well.." "I gotta come by and see him." I nodded. "Yea you do that God Father." I said. His eyes shot up.
"Me?" I nodded. "If you want to, Amara is the God Mother..I knew you two my whole life it makes since." I shrugged. He smiled. "I'd love to."

"Zion, nice to finally meet you." Dr. Marin said. He shook her hand and took a seat beside me. He grabbed my hand and locked our fingers together. "I see y'all are getting along just fine." She said.
I smiled. "Yea." Dr. Marin cleared her throat. "So..As you know Anastasia has been distancing herself from you and her family members including her father." She said. Zion nodded.
She took a breath. "Anastasia." She said. I nodded and looked up at him. Zion raised a brow waiting on me to speak. "When Jacob took me he forced me to sleep with him." Zion frowned.
"He re assured me that it wouldn't hurt me or the baby-" "He did this while you were pregnant?" I nodded my head. He scoffed and shook his head.
"I'm gonna kill him." I sighed and squeezed his hand. "I didn't tell you..Actually I didn't tell you because I didn't want you to look at me differently."
He was silent. "Just like my Daddy did when he found out I was pregnant. He couldn't even look at me." I said. Zion nodded silently.
"He kept going on and on about Kelly being his kid, how'd we'd get married and if I kept testing him he'd put me in the room until after I give birth and raise him on his own." He frowned.
"I just wanted to forget about it and try to move on but that wasn't working out so well." I mumbled.
"But it'll take me a while to fully recover and I wanna know of you'd still be here with me." I said. Zion smiled. "I'm not going anywhere." I smiled.
"Well isn't that sweet." Dr. Marin said. We all chuckled.

"You still not gonna tell me where we're going?" I asked. Zion shook his head. "Nope, it's officially our first date." He said. I laughed.
"I'm glad you opened up to me though, that just shows how much you trust me." Zion said. I smiled. "What can I say? You saved my life." He smiled keeping his eyes on the road.
"If I didn't have Drew's help I don't know where we'll be right now." He said. I nodded my head. "Yea..But let's not talk about that right now. Its all in the past." He nodded in agreement.
"Yes ma'am." He pulled up infront of a huge two story building. "What is this?" I asked. Zion killed the engine. "You'll see."
We stepped out the car and he led me inside the building. My eyes shot up when I saw tables set up, a stage and a bar. "Is this what I think it is?" I asked.
Zion smiled and nodded his head. "Yupp my very own restaurant.. well our restaurant." My smile widened.
"Wow..it needs some work on the outside but it looks nice in the inside." Zion nodded scratching his neck.
"Yea..I'm still working on it." We took a seat and Zion took the tops off of the meal. "Seafood." I said remembering the first time he cooked for me. "It looks great." I said.
Zion shrugged. "I try." I rolled my eyes at how cocky he was. "Anyways, before we eat I wanna say something." He said. I raised a brow. He sighed and pulled something out his pocket.
I saw him holding a small black box. "What-" "I'm not proposing." He said. I took a sigh of relief. He opened the box revealing a beautiful promise ring.

He smiled when he saw the look on my face. "Its beautiful." I said. "Your beautiful, and you deserve the best." I smiled.
"I've never felt this way about anyone..I didn't know what love was until I met you. I promise to be faithful and to be honest with you no matter what." "I promise to do the same."
Zion smiled ear to ear sliding the ring on my finger. We both stood up and kissed.
"I will love you always."
