Trying to wrap my head around everything carefully and to see River is crazy. Last time I saw him was when he was a scared little boy who lacked muscles and social skills since he would give people shy looks or cower away when the attention was on him.
I couldn't help but study his chiseled face. His face was hard and his eyes looked empty with no emotion and a smile that held no meaning. His cold blue eyes gave me a strange chill which made me shift uncomfortably.
I didn't miss the glint in his eyes which he quickly covered with a blank look.
Taylor slid beside River wrapping her arms around his torso whispering something in his ear and he let out a snort. Gwen snapped out of her dazed state and scoffed at the two.
"Brother? What even is a brother? I'm sorry you lost the privilege to be called my brother a long time ago. I don't want you now or I don't want you ever in my life! Now get the fuck out of my face with your side hoe over there." Gwen snapped before letting out a breath before looking back up at River. Her face was calm but I could see the fire in her eyes. A hearty chuckle left her lips as she gave an amused look towards River.
"It's quite intriguing seeing you with Taylor since I didn't know you were the type to sleep around with walking babies. I knew there was something dodgy when you kept stealing my dolls. Thanks for closing my suspicions."
I tried to stifle my laugh but a giggle escaped. I couldn't stop it and it caught the attention of everyone. Hannah looked like she was about to pass out since her face was red. She looked at me like I was crazy until she couldn't help it but start to laugh. I joined seconds later and we were on the ground rolling around in laughter.
I was laughing so hard that I couldn't breathe and I am sure I sound like a dying cat while Hannah sounded like a choking hyena. We tried to control our breathing which ended up with us coughing and laughing.
It took us probably 10 minutes to calm down and wipe away the tears that rolled down our faces when we were laughing. We stood next to each other pushing one another to stop when I accidentally pushed her right into Gwen.
I then realized everyone was looking at Hannah and I. I coughed awkwardly ignoring the stares while Hannah whistled like nothing happened. Gwen rolled her eyes before slapping the back of our heads.
Gheez was it bad to laugh or something -. -
Rubbing the spot that Gwen slapped, I glared at her and she gave me a cheeky smile, her dimples evident. Hannah was whining slapping Gwen back in revenge.
That ladies and gentlemen was how the slapping war started between the two.
Being the responsible one I tried to stop it but the two were oblivious of me and ended up punching me square on the jaw. I stood shocked trying to figure out what just happened. They both stopped and looked at me in concern but I didn't know who punched me.
Who punched me?
I saw Taylor in the corner of my eye smirking slowly backing away towards her minion. Her expression held mischief and pride. Without a blink of an eye I tackled her to the ground making sure I put all my weight on her. She squirmed underneath me and her eyes held fear. She tried to push me off but I held her down effortlessly.
I'm not one for violence but something was wrong and I felt so out of it. I felt rage course though me as I punched her over and over. Her minions tried to interfere but I gave them an icy glare, which they flinched and cowered in fear of being next on my hit list.
I felt like my mind wasn't where my body was and I don't know what was happening around me. All I could see was black and white, my focus was targeted on Taylor while everything was blurred out.
