Chapter 20

Keith .

"No no no .. this can't be happening . I need proof ." I asked sternly to her .

She smiled at me before going into her purse and pulling out a pregnancy test . I snatched it from her and threw it across my living room before punching the wall .  I stared up at the ceiling as my vision became blurry . At this point , the entire room was spinning , and I lost all control of my thoughts .  I looked at the hole that I put into the wall as my heavy breathing came to a stop . I looked over at Ariel , who smirked up at me before walking over to me .

"Why are you so mad ? She's out of the picture , you can finally be with me . Isn't that what you want , Keithy?" Keithy ? What kind of head ass name is that ?

I looked at her and clenched my jaw tightly before walking up the steps to my room . I slammed the door behind me as I flopped onto the bed before grabbing my phone , and looking through my contacts to find someone who could help me through all of this . Someone who knew me more than anyone else did .

Cody .

Ariel .

"Yeah , Tarsha ? It's done ." I smirked as I sat in my car .

"Good . Now come over to my place , I need to to help me bail Bryshere out of jail . " I sighed heavily before hanging up the phone .

Why are me and Tarsha teaming up if we both want Keith you may ask ? Well you see , me and Tarsha are cousins . And when she told me that she wanted to get Keith back , I took this as my opportunity when I seen him at the restaurant that day . I knew Tarsha wanted him and was madly in love with him ; but I didn't care . Keith was gonna be mine , someway , somehow . Even if I had to fake a pregnancy test to get him to .

"Okay so here's the plan . We bail Bryshere out , and I help him get Aniya . After we do that , we get Keith next . Money will be given to Bryshere to help us and everybody lives happily ever after ." I rolled my eyes at the mention of Bryshere's name . I don't like that young man because of the simple fact that he's perverted . My thoughts were cut off by Tarsha grabbing me by my hair .

"Listen you little bitch . Keith is MINE . I swear to god if you try anything , it will be over for you . I don't give a fuck about you that much ; family or not . I will kill you if I have to . Now do what the fuck I say so we can be done with it you stupid cunt ." I gulped strongly before she pushed me into the wall . I nodded at her vastly before running downstairs and into my car . I punched the wheel harshly before breathing in and out heavily . Tarsha was always intimidating to me , but I didn't care . I will do anything I have to do to get Keith . And even I have to kill her , I will .

Amber .

~ a couple of days later ~

I sat on top of Algee , to where I was straddling him as my hands laid on his chest .

"Baby can you please take off for one day ! You've been working this entire week and I want to spend time with you . I know you have to work on your album and all but please .. just one day ? " I looked down at him . He bit his lip and turned his head to the side slightly . I smiled and jumped up and down on him because of how happy I was . Me and Algee haven't had any time this week to spend together , because of how busy we both were . I was producing his entire album ; so me and him were in the studio every day this week .

"You lucky you're as sexy as you are . Because if you was ugly , I would've dubbed it ." He smiled and I giggled .

"Whatever . What movie you wanna watch ?" I asked as I got up . I turned around and Algee was looking at my phone .

"Um amber .. Keith's calling you ... AGAIN . " he said annoyed . I rolled my eyes for like the one hundredth time today . This man has been calling me nonstop since 2 days ago .

"Answer it . I'm cool ." Algee said . I nodded my head before grabbing my phone and stepping out of the room .

"Hello ." I spoke dryly over the phone .

"Amber ? Is it you ? Oh my gosh I miss you so much baby please come home !" He cried over the phone .

"Keith , no . I'm tired of you and everything you've ever put me through . I'm with Algee now and he's treated me way better than you ever have ." I smiled at the thought of Algee's name .

"Umm .. wow . Um okay then ... I - I guess I should just g-go then ."

"Alright . By-"

"Wait Amber . One more thing !" He yelled . I rolled my eyes and didn't say anything , which signaled for him to continue .

"Ariel .. s-she's pregnant .." The whole world stopped when I heard those words . I dropped my phone and ran into the room where Algee sat on the bed . I immediately dropped to my knees as I thought of how my life was going to continue . I was in love with a man who got someone else pregnant . That was supposed to be me ; me and Keith talked about this all the time - about how our future was gonna go and what we were gonna do after college . But little did we know that would all be ruined .

"Amber , baby what's wrong ?" Algee asked me . I told him everything and he continued to comfort me .

"Why are you crying in the first place .. aren't you over him ?" I looked up at him and didn't say anything . He sighed and let go of me before walking towards the door of our bedroom .

"Ya know , I can't be mad at you . You've been with him for some time now .. and I can't expect you to get over him so fast . Just please , don't hurt me ; not again . " he spoke before closing the door . He's always wanted me since we spent all that time together at the beach house , and i always left him for Keith . This whole time I was chasing somebody who was hurting me instead of going for Algee , who was always a shoulder to cry on . He's always been there for me and I've always ignored him . I have to make a choice now , before it's too late ..

Sorry for the wait 😫 School has been killing me but it paid off . I jumped from a 69 average to an 80 👌🏾 But yeah , I'll try to update sometime this week coming up .
