I didn't have any troubles first time configuring T98 Next. Didn't happen again a second time.
When I first got the roms, I tested out if each game worked. They did.
Highly Responsive To Prayers has some elements of Pang games (search up pang games if you want to) and Breakout/Arkanoid. It does have the bullet hell element. You have to exhaust the time limit though.
The ones I played the most were Mystic Square and Lotus Land Story. However for Mystic Square I played for 2 minutes before I went to LLS. LLS was the game I played the most, possibly due to the bad apple theme to it.
