Reviewing TOHO Eurobeat Vol. 4 ~ Perfect Cherry Blossom

VOLUME 4 LET'S DO THIS!!!

ゼンマイ恋時計 [Coiled Love Clock] (T.E.B Summer Mix) / Aki: Ok so this is a remix of the second stage and Chen's theme. After listening to the original. I have concluded that this song DOES AN EXCELLENT JOB OF MASHING UP THE TWO INTO ONE SONG! Yeah the vocals are the same as the original, but it just flows perfectly, like DAMN PERFECTLY!!!

I can also para para dance to this song.

Dreamin' Girl / Ranko: Wait hold on, this is the remix of Letty and Stage 1 theme? I REFUSE TO BELIEVE IT BECAUSE THIS SONG IS ALSO AMAZING!!! The brass leads during the riff sound amazing; the vocals even sound very different to the original! It's just... wow. They did a good job with the main key signature.

Break Into The Dark / Satoshi Kuroiwa: (sadly, this is not the duration of the entire song, so go on youtube and search up "break into the dark toho eurobeat" and you'll find it) The beginning is kinda mixed for me. I do like the guitar riff, but it feels like final fantasy themed. I should like it, but it gives me doubts. Fortunately, it goes away with the Initial D sounding beats. Probably because I haven't heard a lot of Necro-Fantasy and Necrofantasia. Tbh the original overwhelms more than this song.

Rating: 7.5/10

Adequate / T.Stebbins: For some reason the introduction reminded me of Alive a Life (The opening theme for Ryuki). I also need to listen to the original as well XD. Otherwise, this is a great song from Stebbins! It feels so melodic, which kinda doesn't fit Youmu's personality, except the main riff. That sh!t's cool.

Listening to more of this song can lead to pure injection of Initial D AMV XD

Rating: 8/10 for adequacy.

Bloody Night / Shihori: Huh. The intro's starting off great. It sounds... familiar. I don't know what it is though. Like the last few, I indeed need to listen to more of the originals. But wow, tbh it feels like the originals did slight better job than the remix. Shihori vocals can be either decent, or bad. I say they compare to Bamboo dance. The complaint I have it the over usage of the f**king brass! Sheesh! That's impacting enough! I don't need to be reminded that it's a f**king eurobeat song! Song based off Stage 3 and Stage 6 theme btw.
