Touhou 1: Stuff and Such

Reviewing TOHO Eurobeat Vol.2

I have better hopes for this volume. It has one of the best tracks ever!

Bamboo Dance / Shiori: I don't know why, but this is an enjoyable song, probably because her English improved. But in addition to the vocals, the whole atmosphere of the song feels upbeat. Oh yeah, it's a remix of Lunatic Princess. (The fact it's called Bamboo Dance fits the whole theme)

Right or Wrong / Axel.K: It combines Remilia's, Yukari's, and Eirin's theme! I think that it does a good job balancing out the themes, especially the key signature that it handles. I kinda don't care about the Engrish.

Men Becomes a Knight / あにろく！: OK I LOVE REMIX A LOT!!!! They managed to make Magus Night (GFW) better! The guitar riff in the main melody and solo just feels perfect and the Japanese lyrics fits as well! I don't have anything else to say, but it definitely fits Marisa a lot.

優しい嘘 (Kind Lie) / GUMI: Awesome Septette remix. Only problem. THE VOCALS ARE A F!!KING VOCALOID!!! It kinda ruins the whole song, but because of a certain section (I actually don't know how to explain it, chorus I guess?), I'm gonna forgive GUMI.

Friskies / 朱花: Orin's and Chen's theme combined. Hmmm.... I would like to say it's weird in the beginning, but it turns to an actual song few seconds later. I have no other comment except that it's sort of resembles a Right or Wrong.

Believe Me / Axel.K: Sanae's theme. Wow, this remix does a great job with almost everything; the almost has to be the vocals, but it's very forgiving. I got no other comment because Faith is for the Transient People is an excellent song and making it a remix is awesome.

Come Back to Me / 3L: The song starts off nice. It sounds similar to the first stage theme of Perfect Cherry Blossom. Then it hits you that it's he third stage theme of Imperishable Night. Somehow, I like this song! I have no idea why, but the Engrish really forgiving.

Savior of the Sky / T.Stebbins: It's a remix of Byakuren's theme. Overall, it kinda feels boring. The lyrics aren't impacting and the leads feel overused. Not a bad theme though.

Personally, out of all the volumes released, the second volume has to be my favorite one. It has songs that I enjoy listening to any time and I don't regret it one bit. Even in one song sounds boring, it's still enjoyable to listen to.
