"Bill, something feels different today. I have a sickening feeling that something is going to happen but I can't put my finger on it. It just feels strange." Dorothy said making breakfast for everyone.

"I feel it too. Maybe we should get out of here tomorrow, we have stayed here too long anyway." Bill replied wrapping his arms around Dorothy's waist and kissing her cheek.

"That's a good idea. We need to tell the girls and maybe even tell them about what is happening. They are getting older and asking more questions about all the moving." Dorothy said turning around in his arms. They both just stood there thinking about a way to tell their daughters about what will happen to them.

"I've got it! The girls love fairy tales and stories so why don't we tell them like it is a story and when they are old enough we can tell them more in-depth." Bill suggested.

"I like it, I want the girls to take my journal, where I wrote down all that they need to know as a precaution, to their hideout to keep it safe just in case," Dorothy said.

"I Agree, we better get them up for breakfast so we have time to tell them the story and also start packing," Bill said. He walked upstairs into the girls' room to wake them up. When he got into the room he just stood at the door staring at the girls.

Bill opened the door to the girls' room quietly and peered into the room.
** They are so precious to us and have become such big parts of our life. I would have never thought that when Dorothy and I were assigned to these girls to keep them safe, we would be so attached. At this point, I don't think we could ever give our angels up. **

"Jo! Jupiter! Time to get up mommy made breakfast." Bill said walking up to the girls.

"Noooo daddy my bed is too comfy to leave!" Jolene said.

"Well if you don't come down for breakfast how will mommy and I tell you a new story?" Bill said trying to convince the girls to get up.

"A story?" Jupiter said sitting up in bed.

"Yeah, it is about two little girls just like you," Bill said.

"STORYTIME!" the girls yelled in sync as they jumped out of bed and ran out of the room.

"Finally you girls are the worse to get out of bed. I don't even what to know how bad it will be when you guys are older." Dorothy said. The girls smiled proudly.

"What's for breakfast?" Jolene said.

"I made you guys pancakes and eggs," Dorothy said putting down their plates.

"YUMMY!" Jolene yelled as she grabbed her fork.

When the girls were done eating they all went into the living room and sat on the couch.

"Are you girls ready for the story?" Bill asked.

"Yes yes yes!" the girls replied.

"Once upon a time, there we two sisters who were destined to save the world. They were born on the same day and only moments apart..." Bill started before he was interrupted.

"That's just like us!" Jupiter said.

"Yes, it is sweetheart," Dorothy said.

"Okay, where was I? Oh yeah. The girl's parents were told that once they turn 21 the girls will start to develop powers. They also were told that they would have to give the twins up on their 20th birthday." Bill continued.

"The parents refused to give up their beautiful daughters so they moved around a lot so they couldn't be caught and had to give up the girls. They used magic to conceal themselves. They are hoping that they will be able to keep their daughters and teach them how to use their powers themselves." Dorothy said. She could see that the girls were getting bored with the story and wanted to go run around and play so she cut the story short.

"Well, that is enough of the story for now. We can finish it another time." Dorothy said.

"You girls can go to your hideout if you want, I'll use the walky-talky to let you know when dinner is ready," Bill said.

"Okay.", Jupiter said. The girls jumped up off the couch and headed for the door.

"Wait! Can you take this journal to your hideout for me?" Dorothy said grabbing the book off the shelf.

"Yeah, but why mommy?" Jolene said.

"I have been writing it for you two when you get older and want you guys to keep it safe," Dorothy said.

"Will do mommy, love you guys," Jupiter said.

"LOVE YOU, MOMMY AND DADDY!" Jolene said giving them hugs.

"We love you guys so much!" Bill and Dorothy said together.

"Now go have fun!" Dorothy said. The girls ran out the door and to their hideout.

"Come on Jupiter!" Jolene said running in front of her.

"I'm coming!" Jupiter said laughing. Once the girls arrived at their hideout they decided to find a spot for the book.

The entrance to the hideout is at the base of a huge oak tree. The walls and floors are made of cement, Bill came and made it for them. There is a tiny table with chairs and two comfy chairs for them to sit in. There is also an even smaller room connected to the room that had a circular bed in it so the girls could have sleepovers. They also had one bookshelf and only one spot left on it.

"I wonder whats in the book?" Jupiter wondered.

"Same, let's try to read it.." Jolene said putting the book on the table and opening it to the first page.

"What does it say?" Jupiter asked.

"I don't know, there are too many big words!" Jolene said.

"This sucks!" Jupiter said. The girls just put the journal back on the shelf.

"Let's color! Mom just bought me my new coloring book and you got a sketchbook." Jolene said.

"Okay, sounds like fun! Where did we put the sketchbook and coloring book?" Jupiter questioned since she couldn't remember.

"Over here!" Jolene said from the other side of the room. Jupiter ran over and grabbed her sketchbook. The girls were pretty satisfied with just coloring and drawing all day. Whenever they start coloring they lose track of time. When Jupiter looked at their clock she noticed that it was already dinner time.

"Jolene it is dinner time. I wonder why dad and mom haven't called yet." Jupiter said.

"Yeah, you are right, we should try to call them," Jolene suggested picking up the Walky talky.

"Mom? Dad? Is dinner ready yet?" Jolene said. They waited but there was no answer.

"Maybe we should just head back," Jupiter said.

"Yeah let's go I'm getting hungry," Jolene said.

"Well, then we better hurry.", Jupiter said. The girls crawled out of their hideout and as they stood up, they heard multiple gunshots coming from the direction they were heading. They both freeze.

"What was that?" Jupiter asked.

"I don't know, it kind of sounded like when Clayton from Tarzan would try and shoot at the monkeys and Tarzan," Jolene said.

"Well Clayton was a very bad man, I don't have a good feeling Jo," Jupiter said.

"Me either! I think we need to hurry and see if mommy and daddy are okay." Jolene said as she turned away from Jupiter and took off sprinting. The girls sprinted home but just as the house came into view the girls got knocked back by a huge explosion.

The girls open their eyes and sat up to see that their house is a burning pile with only a few walls still standing. When they took a closer look they saw something laying on the ground up ahead. When they slowly walked closer the objects came into view.

"MOMMY?! DADDY?!" Jupiter yelled as she ran over to their lifeless body.

"Jupiter? Jolene?" Bill said in a forced tone in pain.

"DAD!" Jolene said bursting into tears. Jupiter followed moments later.

"My beautiful *cough* angels. I love you guys so much! *cough*" Bill said coughing up blood.

"Dad don't leave us..." Jolene said hugging Bill.

"We need you!" Jupiter says as she also latching onto him.

"Girls I need you to know that your mom and I loved you with all our hearts and we would give our lives again to keep you guys out of harm. You need to go back to your hideout and look under the table I made you. There is a button that will pop out a drawer that has a phone in it. Call the only number on the phone and explain what happened. *cough* the person on the other line will hang up after that and then send someone to get you!" Bill said.

"What about you?" Jolene said.

"We can't just leave you to die!" Jupiter said.

"You need to you have to stay safe and away from the men who have done this...GO! GO NOW!" Bill said pushing the girls in the other direction. The girls ran to their hideout and did what their dad said.

Bill watched them running away before the darkness took over.

The girls got to the hideout and found the phone. They pressed the call and a man answered the phone.

"Hello?" the man said.

"Umm... daddy... I mean Bill.. told us to call you..." Jolene said trying not to burst into tears.

"Our parents were just killed and our house burned down," Jupiter said as she started to breakdown.

"Shit shit shit! Stay where you are I will be there in a couple of hours." The guy on the line said.

"Okayyy." the girls said crying. They hung up and held each other crying for awhile. Then they went and lied down on the bed in the other room and cried themselves to sleep.

When the girls woke up they were in a car driving in the country.

"Where are we?" Jolene said in a panic.

"Glad y'all woke up. I'm Chris and this is Ann. I am the guy you talked to on the phone. We are friends of your parents. You can just call us uncle Chris and Auntie Ann. You girls will be living with us from now on." Chris said. The girls looked at each other with wide eyes. Ann saw this and felt like they were getting overwhelmed.

"Hey sweeties, I know you guys have been through a lot but I just want you to know that Chis and I will be here for you guys," Ann said trying to calm them down.

"Girls I think you should get some more rest we still have two hours until we get home. Plus you have had a sorrow-filled day." Chris said. The girls just nodded and closed there eyes.

Once they arrived at Chris and Ann's house the girls were fast asleep.

"They are so freaking cute babe!" Ann said looking at the girls sleeping in the back seat.

"Yeah they are, I can't believe the Dorothy and Bill pulled this off. I'm surprised that Halo didn't find out about us helping to keep them hidden." Chris said.

"Yeah, I'm just happy it worked out, but we aren't out of the woods yet. These babies don't need to be trapped in a cement room with no freedom or fun." Ann said. After that, they picked up the girls and took them to their room. They had set up the room for the two of them a while back but always hoped they would never have to use it.

"I hope we can give them a life worth living. They have gone through so much already." Ann said looking down at the girls with tears in her eyes.

"I know honey, sadly we can't change the past but we can help them remember their parents and look forward to the future," Chris said wrapping his arm around Ann's waist and placing a kiss on her head.
