Chapter 7

Jolene's POV

Ugh someone needs to shut those birds up! I don't understand why they find it necessary to chirp while I'm trying to sleep! Also why the hell is it so hot in my room.

Did I forget to turn the fan on?

"What the hell?" I mumbled as I tried to force my eyes open. "Where am I?"

Shit, I need to get out of here!

Who's shirt is that and why the hell don't I have my bra on?!
"What the fuck!" I exclaimed.

"Mmm" the man next to me grumbled. I looked over at the person sound asleep next to me but all I could see what his hair.

I just need to slip out and get dressed. Then I need to find a way to get home, oh crap, where is Jupiter? Crap Chris and Ann are probably worried sick!

"Babe, you okay?" The man said.

"James?" I said looking down to see it was him.

"Yeah. Do you need to use the bathroom?" James asked in a deep, and may I say sexy, voice.

"Yeah I do but first where am I and why don't I have my clothes on?" I asked. James finally sat up to look at me in all his glory. He didn't have a shirt on and oh man did he look good! He ran a hand through his hair to get it out of his face.

"Well you and your sister had major headaches or something and you guys pretty much passed out in my car. I took you to my house since it was close and I have no clue where you live. When I laid you on the bed I put you in one of my shirts so you would be more comfortable. But you were the one begging me to take your bra off because it was uncomfortable, so that isn't my fault." He said.

"Oh... ohhhhh I remember now," I said as everything rushed back. "Wait, where is Jupiter?"

"Josh, my friend, helped me get her out of the car when I got here. I couldn't carry you both so he helped. He said something about putting her in his bed and taking the couch in his room." James said.

"Oh, okay that makes sense. I'm still a little groggy though but have I met Josh?" I asked resting my back against the bedrest next to James.

"No, he hasn't come to the bar with me in a while. He is my best mate and my roommate. He's a good guy, your sister is in good hands. Do you want to get some breakfast?" James asked as he wrapped his arms around my shoulders and pulled me closer to him. When I looked up at him, he gently stroked my cheek before he kissed my lips. I lightly smiled and then remembered what he asked and eagerly nodded my head yes in response.

Jupiter's POV

Why is my bed so huge? It feels like there is no end to it I thought as I reached around the bed.

Okay, all you have to do it open your eyes or at least one and when I opened my eyes I defiantly wasn't in my room. As I take a look around the room I cannot help but realized how big the room is. The bed has to be a king and there is still plenty of room for a huge sectional in the corner and a massive tv. But the thing that confuses me is a lot of things. Where am I? How did I get here? Who the hell is sleeping on that couch? And where the hell is Jolene?

"Ouch!" I said I sat up the bed and holding my head. I slip off the bed as silently as I can... and for me, that isn't too quiet. When my feet hit the floor they were numb so I fall face-first on the floor, great!

Fuck me. I look up from the ground to see if I woke up the sleeping man but to my surprise, the guy didn't hear me fall, thank the lord.

I slowly get up and walk to the closest door to me. When I open it, it's a bathroom. I go inside and close the door softly. When I go to lock it, like any normal human being, I can't. Why you must ask, well there isn't one.

Why! Let's just hope that guy doesn't walk in on me.

I turn on the shower and hopped in, the heat makes all my muscles relax. As I'm showering Jolene opens up the link and tells me that we are at James' house and that I am in Josh's room, James' housemate. At least I know where I am now, I guess. When I was done, I grabbed the towel on the counter and remembered I don't have any clothes. I peak my head out of the bathroom to see if the man has moved, he is still sleeping so I slowly and quietly make my way towards my clothes.

As I get to the clothes I wore last night I slip and fall on my ass from the water dripping off me.

Smooth, real smooth. As I'm getting up I hear laughing from behind me. My eyes go wide and I turn around and see Josh still laying on the couch but now awake and laughing at my clumsy ass. I let out a scream since I didn't expect him to be awake.

"Shut up," I said after I finished screaming.

"You have to admit that was hilarious. Also, babe, you might want to close your towel." Josh said looking down my body. I was too busy trying to get up and I forgot to hold my towel around me so it wasn't covering much anymore. I quickly wrap my towel around me as my face heated up from embarrassment.

"You don't have to be embarrassed, your body is rockin'," Josh said. That didn't help at all because I just blushed harder.

"Okay well that doesn't help, you ass! Can you just leave so I can change please." I yelled.

"Yeah but first let me get you some clean clothes you can use," Josh said walking to his closet and pulling out a shirt and some shorts. "I don't have any girl shirts so one of mine will have to make due but I do have a pair of shorts that look like they will fit you. Some girl left them here after we..." Josh said cutting himself off but he made sure to add a wink that the end so I got a point. I just rolled my eyes and snatched the clothes from him. He walked out of the room and I slammed the door behind him.

After I got changed I went to the kitchen. Jolene, James, and Josh were all there eating breakfast.
When Jolene saw me she ran up to me and hugged me. "I was really worried about you, you had me scared last night," she said.

"I know I scared myself," I said hugging her back. "We need to get back to Chris and Ann's before they call the cops."

"You're right... James can you drive us home?" she asked James.

"Yeah sure, let me grab my keys. Wanna come Josh?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and prayed he said no. I'm pretty sure Josh saw it and might explain his overly happy response.

"Yeah, sounds like fun," Josh said looking right at me with a huge smile and not breaking eye contact. Yep, he saw. That little bastard.

As we pulled up to the house Chris and Ann were on the poach, both of them on their phones. Chris is yelling at someone on his phone and Ann looks concerned. Once we get out of the car they both see us and hang up their phones and run over to us.

"We were worried sick!" Ann said hugging us.

"Don't ever do that again," Chris said flatly.

"We are so sorry we will explain inside," I said.

"Who are these handsome men behind you," Ann said smiling toward James and Josh.

"That's James, Jolene's boyfriend." I said "accidentally" forgetting to introduce Josh.

"Oh how nice, I didn't know Jojo found anyone? But who is the other one then?" Ann asked. I turned around and looked at Josh before I looked back at Ann.

"I don't know, I have never seen this man in my life," I replied before I turned around again and gave Josh a wink and walked towards the house. As I was walking I could hear Jolene tell her that it was James' friend Josh.

Jolene's POV

"Well thank you for returning our girls to us," Ann said as Chris gave both the boys the evil eye.

James and Josh looked unfazed and Chris' evil eye is no joking matter.

"Okay, thanks again for the ride. See you guys later." I said.

"I'll text you later babe," James said kissing the top of my head.

"Tell Jupiter bye and that I liked the show this morning," Josh said with a smirk. I looked at him confused but shook it off.

After James and Josh left the girls explained everything that happened last night to Chris and Ann.
Unknown's POV

"Sir we have eyes on the girls." my minion said.

"Good, we need to make sure we don't lose them. They are the only people who can stop me and my plans." I said.

"We will make sure to keep a close eye on them. When do you plan on attacking?" he said.

"I don't, I'm just going to make sure they don't have time to stop me," I said.

"How do you plan on doing that, sir?" Guy 1 said. I looked at the idiot in front of me and rolled my eyes.

"I don't think that is any of your concern. Get back to work we don't have time for your questions." I demanded.

"Yes sir," he said. I got up out of my chair and walked to my room. When I got there I went over to the fireplace and pressed the middle tile above it. When I do that a door opened up and stairs led down into a hidden dungeon. I walked down the flight of stairs and walked up to the first cell and looked down at the prisoner I had in front of me.

"I hope you are ready to see how I take Jolene and Jupiter down without even trying," I said with an evil laugh.

"They will never let you win. You don't stand a chance." my prisoner said hoarsely.

"You make me laugh. I can't wait to prove you wrong." I said kicking dirt up at the prisoner. The prisoner just scooted to the back of his cell and didn't say anything else.
