After Nick let them in the house he asked them to sit on the couch in the living room. The house was huge it looked like a freaking hotel.

"You must be the lovely Jolene. James can't stop talking about you." Nick said extending his hand out for Jolene to shake. She took his hand as she tried to hide the blush blooming on her cheeks. "And that must mean this beautiful woman is Jupiter, I haven't heard much about you, except you are a very intriguing person," Nick said turning to Jupiter and shaking her hand as well.

"Thanks... I think." Jupiter said hesitantly.

"To get to the point, why did you bring them here? you know that we don't normally allow non-hybrids in the packhouse." Nick said sternly to James and Josh.

"You remember when we had to hang up on you while we were at the fair? Well because of how we were talking, Jolene and Jupiter thought that we were from Halo, the organization trying to lock them up so they can do tests on them. When we tried to explain they wouldn't listen and they started using their powers. I don't want to lose my mate, so desperate times call for desperate measures..?" James explained, ending it like a hesitant question.

"We can't take having that happen again and there is no telling if we will get away again," Jolene said.

"I do have to say it is about time I got to meet your beautiful mate," Nick said.

"Only I can call her beautiful!" James said with a growl. Nick threw his hand up in playful surrender.

"James, calm down he was just being nice I don't think he meant anything by it," Jolene said lacing her fingers with his. James looked at her and raised their hands and placed a kiss on the back of her hand.

"What am interested in is the fact that you guys are Demi-Goddesses. How did that happen?" Nick asked. The girls looked at each other before they looked back at Nick and explained everything.

"Wow, that's a lot to take in," Nick said.

"Yeah, we don't know what we want to do yet. I mean we were told we have to take down both organizations." Jupiter said.

"If you ever need any help, don't hesitate to ask. Since you are James' mate you are now a part of this pack." Nick said.

"We don't want to bring anyone else into the hell that we live," Jupiter said.

"You guys know that the moment you came into our lives that flew out the window?" James said. The girls made eye contact with each other, they both had a look of sadness in their eyes.

"What are you guys not telling us?" James asked skeptically. Jolene and Jupiter shared the same thought of not telling them anything else because they know how angry and hurt they will be when they find out the full truth.

"It isn't important," Jupiter said.

"It doesn't seem that way by the way you looked at each other," Josh said.

"Everything is fine, you don't need to worry," Jolene said looking at all three of them with a reassuring smile, or at least she tried.

"I'm honestly surprised that you guys haven't thought about it first," Nick said out of nowhere.
"Thought of what?" James asked.

"The fact that there is no way to ensure that the girls will win this "war" against their bloodline," Nick said. James and Josh stayed silent, just thinking and then they slowly turned their heads towards the girls.

"We don't want to make you worry, but Nick is right, there isn't any way to ensure that we end up living after this," Jolene said.

"I hope you girls know that there is no way that we are allowing you to fight this battle without us by your sides," James said sternly. Josh nodded his head in agreement. They were both waiting for the girls to agree with them or try and argue this, emphasis on TRY.

"We can't let anyone else that we love get killed!" Jolene said.

"Babe I know that you lost your parents to this fight but we want to help you take these bastards down for what they did to you guys," James said taking Jolene's hands in his and looking into her eyes with sincerity.
