Chapter 16

"It's great to be back in America." Jolene said.

"I agree." Jupiter said. 

They just landed on their flight home. They called Chris and Ann before they took off to let them know they were coming.

"Chris and Ann said they would pick us up from the airport." Jolene said. James pulls Jolene aside after she says this.

"I know that you and your sister have always lived together but once I found out about Kayden I want to be a big part of his life and I dont think I can go another day without have you both by my side. Would you want to move into my house so that we could be a proper family?" James asked.

"Yes! I.. I mean we would love that." Jolene said. Jolene leaned in and gave James a kiss.

"Okay love birds we need to get going before Chris leaves without us." Jupiter said.

"Agreed." Josh said rolling his eyes. They all grabbed their bag and headed out to the pick up area.

"Jolene! Jupiter!" Chris yelled.

"Chris! We missed you!" Jolene said running up to him to give him a hug.

"I'm good I'm glad you guys are back." Chris said.

"I know us too." Jupiter agreed.

"How has the little guy been doing? He has gotten so big." Chris said.

"I know he is good but there is a lot we have to tell you guys." Jolene said.

"Okay well lets get home so Ann can see you. She would have came but she was busy making a huge dinner for the four of you." Chris said.

"Perfect, I'm starving!" Jupiter said. They all put their things in the back and piled in the van. They drove straight to Chris and Ann's house. When they pulled up the house didn't look any different.

"I missed this place!" Jolene said.

"Me too!" Jupiter said. They unloaded the bags and James got Kayden, Jolene and Jupiter ran inside the house to see Ann without helping with the bags.

"ANN?!" Jolene and Jupiter yelled together.

"Ahhh! Your here!" Ann yelled from the kitchen. They heard a pan drop and footsteps running to the living room.

"Ann!" I'm so happy to see you!" Jolene said.

"How have you girls been! It's been way too long!" Ann said hugging them both.

"I know we missed you so much!" Jupiter said.

"There are somethings we have to catch you up on soon though. We didn't have a very peaceful getaway in the end." Jolene said.

"Luckily our boys were there to save us though." Jupiter said.

"Could we get a little help here?" Josh huffed as they dragged all the luggage into the house.

"Oh yeah, sorry." Jolene said as she ran over and grabbed Kayden. "Baby, wake up I want you to meet your grandma."

"His grandma? I'm so honored!" Ann said looking at Jolene with so much love in her eyes.

"Grandma?" Kayden said.

"Yeah buddy." Jolene said encouraging him to go meet Ann.

"Grandma!" Kayden said as he reached for Ann to hold him. Ann took Kayden and they went back into the kitchen to finish dinner.

"It will be ready in 5 minutes." Ann yelled.

Over dinner the girls caught Chris and Ann up on everything that has been happening and about Jolene moving into James' house so all three of them can live like a real family. Jupiter even suggested that Josh could move into Chris and Ann's house. Everyone thought it was a great idea so that James and Jolene can have the privacy they deserve.

A WEEK LATER

"DONE!" Jolene said excitedly. They just finished moving Josh out and Jolene and Kayden in.

"I'm so happy you said you would move in with me!" James said as he wrapped his arms around her waist. He pulled her in and kissed her on the lips.

"Mom!" Kayden yelled running into the living room.

"Yes honey?" Jolene said.

"Do you want to play with me?" Kayden asked.

"Sure but could Dad play with us?" Jolene countered.

"Yeah!" Kayden said and ran over to James and tugged on his hand.

"Let's go." James said.

JOSH AND JUPITER

"I think we need to tell Chris and Ann about my dad." Jupiter said.

"Are you sure?" Josh said.

"Yeah they know about everything that is happening and they might be able to help us save him and maybe tell us who we are up against." Jupiter said.

"I don't know, what if he tell us it's not safe and to not go?"  Josh says.

"Your right. Maybe just tell him that we know the name of the guy how had my dad." Jupiter said.

"That's sounds better he might have info he can give us." Josh said. The both went down stairs to the kitchen to talk to Chris.

When they asked Chris about Kenny Dodge he told them all about how he was the one who attacked the house when they were little. He sat Jupiter and Josh down and told them that there was something they didn't know and their parents didn't tell them.

There is two blood lines that have had a feud going on for a very long time. One of course is Jupiter and Jolene's family and the Dodge family. It's a feud between wizards and witches. He told Josh and Jupiter that as long as these two blood lines are alive there will always be a feud. The eldest generation won't let it die and so they pass that anger and resentment to their kids and grandkids.

After the conversation Josh and Jupiter went to the study to read up on the family and all the information Chris and Ann had on the Dodge family. Josh read up as much as he could while Jupiter found  an exact replica of the blueprints of the building they need to break into online. 

"We need to get you dad back so that we can get more answers so that we can prevent your potential deaths." Josh said.

"I agree, but we need to do it quick so they don't have time to plan or find out we are trying to take him." Jupiter said. They packed up all the books that helped and brought them upstairs.

"We need to grab your dad in the next few days then."  Josh said.

"I say we do it in two days. We can do a steak out and try to get the shift changes in the next two days and know the perfect entrance to enter in so we can get in and get out as fast as possible." Jupiter said.

"Okay then it's decided. We steak out the joint tomorrow and the next day we put the plan in motion." Josh said.

"Perfect! I'm beat so I'm going to go to my room and go to sleep." Jupiter said.

"Okay sounds good to me. I'm going to stay up a little longer to read up some more." Josh said. 

"Night Josh." Jupiter said walking out of his room.

"Good night." he replied.
