Jack POV
She was much happier today. It was so brilliant to be around her today, just acting like her sons and telling jokes and goofing around. She had this fondness about her, and I'm so glad we're going to college together. Me, her and Jace talked about how we'd definitely meet up all the time when we left school, and how we should all totally go on a small holiday together in the winter. It sounded so fun. Chill time with my favorite people.
I noticed how she didn't eat anything today, but I decided not to mention it. She had had eating problems in the past, and bringing it up might of made her anxious. Plus, killing her mood would of been awful.
But I did give her a worried look when the sun suddenly came out and we were all complaining about the heat on the way home. She refused to take her hoodie off, saying she didn't feel the heat, but she complained with us.
"Don't worry about me," she mouthed with a smile. "I'm fine."
I hope she is.
