"No." Tyler stayed put.
"What?" Ashley asked incredulously.
"No. I'm not going."
Josh kneeled down to where Tyler was. "Why not?"
"Because I deserve this." Tyler looked down at his knees, tears falling into them.
It made Josh's heart break. "Tyler, no one deserves this."
"I do. It's what I get for being an abomination." Tyler was sobbing at this point. He felt ashamed to be alive.
Josh hugged Tyler close, who was still in the chair. "You're not an abomination."
Tyler's voice was muffled against Josh's Blink 182 t-shirt. "Yes I am."
Josh pulled Tyler away from him and looked him in the eyes. "Tyler, you're an angel. You're perfect to me. Don't do this. You're an angel. Please come with me."
"O-okay." Tyler sniffed. He let josh runtime him and the three left the room, but not before Tyler closed his eyes and whispered a silent prayer:
"Tell our dad I'm sorry."
