Tyler went downstairs to get a glass of water. He opened the refrigerator door when he smacked into a dark figure.

"Ack!" The dark figure exclaimed.

"Oh! Sorry." Tyler apologized. "I didn't see you."

The dark figure stepped into the light of the fridge, and Tyler realized it was Josh.

"Oh. Hey." Tyler whispered.

"Hey." Josh whispered back.

"Thanks for coming to get me earlier. I don't even like my aunt. I don't know why I was doing to stay with her."

Josh let out a soft chuckle, but after a second he stepped closer. "Hey Tyler?"

"Yes Josh?"

"Can I kiss you?"

"Yes Josh."

And with that, Josh pressed his lips against Tyler's. If their hug from earlier was home, than this was pure heaven. Tyler felt the sparks in his chest rise up so much he was surprised the room wasn't illuminated in a soft glow.

He wanted to stay this way forever.

They finally pulled apart after a few minutes, foreheads still touching. Tyler looked up into Josh's eyes. "That was..."

"Yeah." Josh finished. They stood there looking at each other for what seemed like hours.

"Well, anyway..." Tyler began, but Josh cut him off.

"Wait, we're gonna do that, and then you're gonna go with 'well, anyway...'?" Josh said, and they both laughed.

"I mean, I don't know. What am I supposed to say?"

"I don't know. But I know what I want you to say." Josh said with a smirk.

"What do you want me to say?" Tyler inquired.

"I want you to say," Josh murmured, leaning in closer and wrapping his arms around Tyler's waist, "that you like-like me and you want to be with me. But if you don't, I understand."

"Josh?"

"Yes Tyler?"

"I like-like you. And I want to be with you. Forever."
