Chapter 12~Au Revoir Paris

I pulled the trigger with Tre'Kell fingers waiting for my life to just end with in that moment. I had to do this. All those times that I used to tell Tre'Kell I was his ride or die wasn't a lie. I will kill for him, live for him, and die for him. At this moment I was doing exactly what I told him I'll do. Family is over everything for me. Even if it means ill no longer I'll have the empire. The gun fired and I waited for my fate to approach me. Seconds arrived and I didn't feel anything. What made my eyes open my eyes was the loud scream of Tre'Kell. I saw Tre'Kell screaming and I was confused on the reason on why I wasn't dead.

Suddenly a hand was covered over my mouth and I was being dragged away while I saw Tre'Kell going crazy. They dragged me into a room and shut the door behind me. I looked up confused but somebody kicked me unconscious.

Slowly I opened my eyes to see I was in a small room. I pulled the tape off my mouth and backed up into the wall quickly. I began thinking about the events that just played. Why the hell wasn't I dead? The door opened and Angelica stepped in. She watched me carefully.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked.

"You passed." She said.

I looked at her confused as hell.

"What the hell are you talking about? Where is my friends? You said you will let them go."

"They were never here." She said.

I never been so damn confused in life.

"Well where are they! and why aren't I dead?"

"Your friends are still in the hotel."

I looked at her shock.

"Explain to me what the hell is going on." I said.

"This was a test and you passed. Nobody stole three million dollars from us." She grinned. "Nobody could break pass our security. Tre was never going to die because there was no bullets in the gun. I was quite surprised you choose your life over your empire. My initiated guess was you were gonna figure out a way to escape or kill Tre."

"You told me they would die if I discuss a way out."

"As I did but I thought you would be smarter and find a way to escape."

"Well I didn't so what test did I pass?"

"That you took pride over your empire."

"How? I was so easy to lose it."

"No you was so easy to kill yourself for your empire. That's what I need here."

"What? If this was all a test why is Tre fucked up?"

"We had to make it look real."

I stared at her not believing anything that was coming out her mouth.

"I want to be the best Brooklyn, and I know you want that also. Our empires is one the biggest empires out there and if we combine them we could be unstoppable and the family business will live on."

She stared at me with eager eyes, but before I knew it I launched at her. I pinned her to the back and strangled her with both my hands.

"You must of be out your damn mind to think I would team up with you. I may have passes your test but I dont know shit about you. Now im going to walk out this door, and if you follow me I will kill you." I said that then let her go.

I gave her one last stare before walking out. I was fucking mad that this was all a test. I went to the room Tre was in and it was left open. As I walked in a guy stood over me and looked around.
