Tre'kell POV

I placed the blunt between my lips and watched slowly as the smoked escaped my mouth. My body relaxed on its own and became numb to life itself. It was a good feeling. I felt good. I needed to feel good because every second without Brooklyn was slowly driving me crazy. That's what being in love does to you. It causes you unbearable pain that can only be healed by that one person. I laid in bed and continue to do what I do every second of my life which was smoke  weed. I barely heard my door opened and watched as Quan appeared in front of me.

"Damn Tre you had enough? Your whole room lit with smoke." He said waving his in the air.

I looked up at him but didn't heard what he said so I laid back down and smoked some more. As I was about to please myself with another high I watched as the blunt left my hand and fell to the floor. I looked to Quan knowing he just threw my blunt on the floor. Something only Brooklyn would do.

"Tre I don't care that your high right now. Hell I want to be high with you but you taking this shit to a different level. You cant even run the empire cuz  you lit 24/7." He said.

I sighed quietly.

"I need it." I said.

"No you don't. At least not to the point where you cant think straight."

I shook my head.

"Your not understanding. It hurts." I said.

He scrunched up his face.

"Nigga what? You talking about Brooklyn?" He said laughing. "Man you a bitch."

I couldn't process why he was laughing but anger started to build up on me.

"Nigga fuck you. Your not in my position so you wouldn't understand."

He stopped laughing at me and frowned.

"That's where your wrong. Brooklyn is family to me. You think I'm not hurting? We all are but we still got priorities to take care of."

I was annoyed that he was still talking. My brain just couldn't let me process what he was saying.

"What the fuck you want me to do?" My voice coming out muffled because my face was in the bed.

"You need to run the damn trap! Shit nigga."

"Why they need to see me in person. If someone not handling there shit they done with me."

Quan sighed.

"You still need to that exchange with G."

I groaned because Quan was still talking to me but I just wanted peace.

"Have that new girl do it."

"What girl?" Quan asked confused.

"The street worker that makes us hella money."

"Oh you mean Kayla."

"Yeah her." I said my face still to the bed.

"Tre you realize this is big exchange for us. If she messed this up we lose a lot."

"Then look after her and make sure she knows that if she screws this up shes done with this empire."

"Alright." He said walking to my door but then he stopped. "Your still a bitch." He said leaving

I rolled my eyes and tried going back to sleep until I was disturbed when my phone ranged.

"What?" I said answering it.
