Chapter 35~ Dinner Date

We been in Rio for two weeks and half now and I had to admit I loved it. The atmosphere and the people were amazing and the main person I wanted by my side was here with me. I was walking with Angel in the market picking up food for the house. 

"Does this look ripe to you?" Angel said holding up a mango. 

I looked up and examined it then shrugged. 

"I don't know but if you think it is just get another one." I suggested. 

She put the mango down and examined the rest of them. The man behind the counter watched as Angel went through each mango. He grinned and and picked up a mango that looked better than the rest. 

"Here you go ma'am." He said handing her the mango. 

She looked at the mango in his hands and smiled. 

"Thank you." She said.

"No problem. I just thought you deserved a mango that was equally as beautiful as you." He said. 

I looked up to to see he was a good looking Brazilian man. She smiled again at his words. 

"Well I appreciate that. Thanks again." She said walking away. 

"Wait." He said making her stop. 

She turned and looked at him. 

"Will you go to dinner with me tonight?" He asked her. 

Damn these Brazilian men don't waste no time asking what they want. I looked over at Angel who just watched him for a second. 

"I'm not sure that's a great idea." She said. 

"Just dinner nothing more." He said. 

She starred at him then nodded. 

"Okay." She said. 

He smiled.

"Great so ill pick you up around seven?" He ask 

"Okay. I live right up on that hill." She said pointing behind her. 

He nodded and we both left. 

"Your going on dates now?" I ask her. 

She looked at me then continued walking. 

"Say what you really have to say Brooklyn." She told me. 

"Okay fine. Why you going on a date if you already have Izzy." I ask. 

She laughed.

"I don't have Issac. I haven't had Issac since I was in high school. That was like ten years ago." She told me. 

"So you don't love him? Because he surly loves you." I said. 

She stopped and stared at me. 

"I'm a different person Brooklyn. If he still loves me then hes in love with a different person." 

I listened to her knowing what she was saying was true but I didn't care. 

"Then let him learn to love this person." I said. 

She smiled at me and continued walking. We picked up a few more items before walking back home. We saw Tre and Izzy playing soccer with a couple of kids. 

"Mmm vocês são realmente bons." Angel said.

The kids looked at her and smiled. 

"Mmm I wish I knew what you were saying?" I said. 

"I just told them they were good." Angel said walking inside. 

We put the grocery's  away then sat down on the couch.
