Chapter 16~ Milkshake & Deep Convos

We were in the conference room while Tre discussed about our following plans coming up. I wasn't exactly paying attention to him because I was In my own little dazed. Its been a week since the time at the club and a week without talking to Tre except for business. I tried to pay attention but was interrupted by a text making its way to my phone. I looked down to see it was Khenan. I haven't spoken to him since the time at the club.

Khenan: Dinner tonight?

I looked at my phone a little funny considering this was the first thing he decided to say. Not saying I didn't like that because it was straight to the point which I liked. 

Me:Is that a demand?

khenan: No its your decision but a decision I hope that's going to have me seeing your face tonight.

I smiled as I attempted to respond to his message.

"Brooklyn!" I heard a voice call my name.

I look up to see a irritated Tre.

"What?" I asked.

"The importance of this conference meeting is for everybody know what the fuck is going on. Not for you to be doing your own shit and smiling into your phone."

I stared at him feeling his anger  but a tint of jealousy.

"I apologize." I said not wanting to argue.

Everyone stared at me in shock including Tre. I got up and went to the front where tre stood and nodded for him to take a seat. He looked at me hesitantly before sitting down.

"I'm working on something and I'm debating or not if I want to have ya'll apart of it." I said.

Everyone stared at me intensely.

"Long story short when I was kidnapped I met Calvins daughter Angelica. She kidnapped me to test me if I was strong enough for my empire. The test was for me to kill Tre or all of you to die. Me being weak and my love got in away of whats mine and I ended up deciding to kill myself to save you all. Since it was a test I didn't die as yall can see, but I thought I was. No doubt I would choose what I did again to save any of yall but I want revenge on Angelica because she threatened whats mine and fucked with my mind."

It was silent and everyone stared at me in shock. Then Khalil stood up and gave me a nod of respect. Quan and Izzy stood up as well and nodded at me. Tre stared at them then at me but got up and as I thought he was gonna nod but he ended up leaving the room. I didn't know exactly how I felt about that.

"I will forever hold you down Brooklyn." Khalil said interrupting my thoughts.

Quan and Izzy nodded In agreement. I smiled at them knowing we truly were family. 

"Thank you guys I appreciate that. Now back to revenge I want that but I don't know how. Killing? I thought about but I'm to much of a bitch to follow through."

They all ended up grinning at me.

"I thought about taking her empire but-

"But what? Izzy said.

I looked at him as he began talking again. 

"She wanted to combine empires but we sure as hell aint doing that shit, but she was right we would be more powerful so I want that, but we can just control the empire without her." Izzy suggested. 

"And where will she go?" I ask knowing shes not gonna let us just take her empire and walk.

"Easy." Quan said.  "We just gonna fuck with her mind like she did yours."
