Hide & Seek (Avengers (kinda Bucky) x Reader)

Prompt: Tony tries to trick the Winter Soldier

You were sitting on the couch with your arms crossed while you watched TV with some of the other Avengers who weren't in their own areas of the tower doing who knows what. Your favorite part of the movie (that was playing on TV) was coming up and you were growing excited by the second, which the others noticed. 

"Y/N. Calm down." Natasha shakes her head. "This seriously isn't that great of a part."

"You shut yo mouth!" You screech. "You know this is my favorite part!"

"Guys!" Tony screams while rushing into the room. "I just found the best thing ever!"

"What?" You all question, your face grimmer than the others because you had to pause/turn off your movie. 

"I found a way to find Bucky every time," Tony smirks. "Anyone want to mess with him with me?"

"I missed my favorite part so I have nothing to lose." You mutter under your breath while standing up from the couch, everyone else soon following. 

"Come on, let's start this. We have to get everyone involved though." Tony chuckles while rubbing his hands together.

"Well, I have two hours before the movie is on again and it's exactly my favorite part. So move along." You order while gesturing him away with your hand.

"You can't order me. I order you." Tony scoffs, you roll your eyes.

"Yeah yeah, we'll see when I blast your ass to Asgard." You state.

**Time skip brought to you by Bucky, Steve, and Sam pretending to be Alvin and the Chipmunks(hardcore)**

"Are you sure this is going to work?" You demand while looking at Tony. "I hate being it for Hide and Seek."

"Well, yeah but...just man up. This is going to be hilarious!" Tony assures while turning on the metal detector with a smile before walking away to head down the hall, running the machine over the walls and any hiding spot available.  

"This is going to backfire completely." You shake your head but eventually follow him down the hall, texting on your phone and barely paying attention because you knew that this wasn't going to work.

"Have some faith, Y/N!" Tony cries. "And pay attention!" 

"I'll only pay attention when it starts to be..." You trail off when the detector starts going crazy right when Tony faces it towards a door leading into Steve's room.

"Oh, Bucky. I should've known." Tony laughs before pressing a button on his watch.

"Yes, sir?" Jarvis's voice rings throughout the hall. 

"Send Mark 54 to pick up the metal detector." Tony orders.

"Right away," Jarvis confirms as Tony leans the machine against the wall.

"Come on, Y/N. I knew it would work." Tony smirks while walking into the room while rubbing his hands together. You roll your eyes and pull your phone out to record what was about to happen. 

To say that this was revenge would be an understatement. Every time your movie has come on, Tony always finds a way to interrupt your movie time especially right when your favorite part was coming up. So, when you got word of what Tony was planning, you went to Bucky right away. 

As Tony walked into the room, he slightly trips over a wire. Causing trumpets and other loud instruments to go off in the room. Tony covers his ears while falling to the ground as a special type of glue is sprayed all over his body, soon followed by feathers, glitter, and puff-balls.

You start laughing your ass off as Tony screams strings of prophanities, all the Avengers quickly rush to where you guys were when they hear the loud sounds and Tony's screams. Bucky comes to stand next to you and wraps his arm around your shoulders as you both stare at the billionaire in triumph. 

"So, frozen yogurt?" You question as you and Bucky start to walk down the hall.

"Yeah, and we can rent your favorite movie so we can finally finish it," Bucky replies while looking down at you.

"Sounds perfect!"

So the story about the metal detector is that my cousin wanted to be the man of steel so he ran to the kitchen and hid spoons all over his body then came back to my brother who was turning on the metal detector as he ran to test the whole thing.

So when my cousin came back, my brother ran the metal detector over his body and it beeped. Which caused everyone to flip shit.

Then Zoe (@Meowlnir)and I made a joke about finding Bucky in the snow/during hide and seek with it....lol
