It's Veronica // Merrell Twins [completed]

Veronica sits in silence on the car ride, questioning her whole life.

"Wait, so my life has been a lie?" Veronica asks her 'sister', breaking the silence. Vanessa nods and it goes back to silence.

"Here we are." Vanessa smiles, turning into a long driveway, up to a very, very large house.

"Woah!" Veronica gasps in awe. Vanessa giggles. "That's everyone's reaction." Vanessa turns off the engine and they walk up the stone steps.

"Quirky!" Vanessa opens the door to find a cat standing there. Vanessa picks up the cat and shows him to Veronica.

"This is quirky." Vanessa introduces him. "Hi quirky! I've had dreams about you! In a non creepy way of course.." Veronica laughs.

Vanessa gives the cat to Veronica and she pets him, walking with Vanessa to her room.

"Woah, just like the dreams." Veronica sighs. Vanessa nods and sits on her bed.

"You have so much to tell me." Vanessa turns to face Veronica after checking her phone.

The two girls begin to fill each other in, on the 20 years of life they missed together.

"Wait, THE DOLAN TWINS?!" Vanessa shouts as Veronica mentions their names. "Yeah, I think they said something like that." Veronica shrugs.

Vanessa brings out her computer and goes onto YouTube. She types in the Dolan twins and hundreds of videos pop up.

"They inspire me, I've always wanted to make videos, but never had the courage." Vanessa sighs.

"Oh my gosh I feel the same way!" Veronica gasps. They look into each other's eyes and feel each other's emotions.

"We should start a YouTube channel together!" The twins sync. They both burst out laughing at their telepathy.

The girls continue chatting until they hear their mother come home.

"Girls?" Wendy asks, calling throughout the house. The girls share a look then run downstairs.

"Oh Veronica, your so big!" Wendy pulls Veronica into a long lasting hug. "And she's alive!" Vanessa interrupts.

"Right, about that, come on in here." Wendy sighs, leading the way to the living room.

"Okay, me and your father split up after you two were born. We decided it was best if I took Vanessa, and your dad took Veronica, so you didn't have to have the guilt of seeing each parent every day."

"We decided to not tell you about your twin, or you would just go looking for them. I made up that Veronica died, and Paul never mentioned Vanessa."

"We never talked, so didn't know how the other one was coping. Now Veroncia you are magically here." Wendy sheds a small tear.

Veronica begins to tell her mother about why she left, people getting her name wrong, and adventures in getting here.

Her mother listens to every word, hanging onto her last breath.

"Wow." She says blandly. "That's a lot." Wendy sighs. "I better ring Paul, tell him to come get you." Wendy pulls out her phone but Vanessa grabs it, and throws it across the room, making it shatter on the ground.m

"Vanessa!" Wendy yells in shock.

"I just found my twin sister who we supposedly 'dead', and now you want to take her away from me? She travelled halfway across the country and you want to send her back? No!" Vanessa yells, grabbing Veronica's hand and pullin them both upstairs.

"Sorry. I just don't want to loose you again. " Vanessa wipes away a tear. Veronica smiles. "I don't want to loose you either."

The power went out and I'm scared it will again
