"Alright, family meeting time." Wendy states after the boys leave.
The four of them sit down on the furniture, watching tiger and quirky hiss at each other. "Aw, so cute!" Vanessa smiles, taking out her phone.
"Not the point!" He mother snaps, looking at the twins. "What are we going to do with you? We can't all move back in because me and Paul are divorced, and he probably has a girlfriend or wife back in California, which wouldn't be surprising because he is so nice and handsome and caring for his daughter." Wendy spits out breathlessly.
She looks over at Paul who raises an eyebrow. She looks over to the twins who also have their eyebrows raised.
"Sounds like someone hasn't gotten over my very single father yet." Veronica smirks, nudging Vanessa.
"No I don't think you have, my very single mother." Vanessa adds.
Wendy sighs, running a hand through her hair. "Besides the point. We could either seen you two together beach and forth between houses, but that is too far, and schooling would be confusing." Wendy scribbles on a piece of paper.
"Or we could try splitting them up agai-" "NO!" The twins interrupt, hugging each other. "Whatever we do, we are not splitting up." Veronica states, moving closer to her sister.
"Okay.." "Well Wendy, you could always move into a seperate house in California, then the twins can easily switch houses, stay in school, and be with each other and their new boyfriends, which I didn't specify was allowed either." Paul adds, glaring at his daughters that turn red.
"That is not a good option, did you think about me and Vanessa? What about her friends, my friends, and my job? I'm just going to quit? That's not an option." Wendy states angrily.
"Well then I think we are stuck." Vanessa says, crossing her arms.
"Girls, can me and your mother have a moment alone please." Paul asks. The girls nod and head out of the room.
Veronica and Vanessa close the door to the living room, but listen in between the cracks.
"We know your there girls, please just give us some privacy!" Paul yells. "Fine!" The twins zinc, walking up to their room.
"So, mum still likes dad, but dad doesn't like mum." Vanessa says, walking around the room. "We don't know that!" Veronica adds, also pacing.
"Wait shh!" Veronica says, placing her finger over her sisters lips, getting s glare in response.
"Paul, the girls are right. I still do want to be with you." Wendy says from downstairs. The girls smile and continue to eavesdrop into the conversation.
"I don't know, I haven't had feeling for anyone in ages." Paul adds.
"Even if you don't like me, can we please just try moving back in together, for out daughters." Wendy pleads.
The twins stay silent in their room, waiting in the suspenseful silence for a response.
"I guess we can try." Paul chuckles.
The two girls scream, and run down the stairs in a flurry. "Thank you so much!" Both twins shout, hugging their parents.
"I guess they heard then." Wendy laughs. "I guess they did." Paul smiles at Wendy, hugging his long lost Vanessa.
