It's Veronica // Merrell Twins [completed]

"VJM?" Veronica taps I the profile. "Private, dang!" Veronica slaps the seat.

The only indicator of it being VNM is the letters 'V' and 'M'. The profile bio says nothing, and the profile picture is of a cat, a very familer cat...

"That cat! In my dream!" Veronica whispers to Tucker. He barks excitedly and runs around the bus. Veronica laughs and studies the profile.

She memories the cat just as the bus tops with a sharp jerk. Veronica lands on the floor with a thud.

"Ouch." She groans, standing up and brushing herself off. "What happened?" Veronica walks to the front of the bus.

"Crash." He sighs. "We are going to have to get detoured. Wanna stop off and get some water from a supermarket?" Jack asks. Veronica sighs and nods, heading her way back to her seat.

Veronica decides to do a bit of cleaning. She picks up all her stuff and nearly displays it on the back three seats, kind of like her 'room'.

Jack pulls into the supermarket parking lot and Veronica runs inside. She grabs a large water tank and heaves it down, dropping it. I lands on her foot and she falls over.

She tries to heave the tank off her foot when a hand pushes it off. Veronica looks up to see a young man, around her age smiling at her.

"Here." He smiles, giving her his hand. She grabs it and hops up. "I'm Ethan by the way." Ethan smiles.

"I'm Veronica." She can't hide the blush in her cheeks.

This boy is cute. Ask him where he is from! She talks to herself I her head.

"Are you from around here?" Veronica asks shyly. "Arizona? Nah." He smiles.

Arizona? We have travelled far!

"Neither. I am actually heading to Kansas. I come from California." Veronica smiles up at Ethan.

"Really? Me and my brother are too! We are kind of busing, you know what time the next one comes?" Ethan asks.

Invite him and his brother onto the bus!

Veronica shakes her head and picks up the tank. "See you round Veronica." Ethan smiles. Veronica waves slightly and walks off.

She pays for her water and makes her way to the bus. I the way she spots Ethan.

Now's your chance. Go for it!

"Ethan!" Veronica runs up to him. He turns around in surprise. "Hello, do I know you?" He asks politely.

"Uh, I'm Veronica? We met I the store literally five minutes ago...." Veronica says confused.

"Oh! You must have met my twin brother, Ethan. Look there he is!" The guy smiles and waves at someone behind Veronica.

Veronica turns around and sees Ethan walking out of the store. "I see you've met my brother." Ethan grins.

"You didn't tell me you were a twin!" Veronica laughs.Ethan joins in. "This is Grayson." Ethan points at his brother. Grayson smiles and waves.

"I'm Veronica, but you can call me Roni." Veronica smiles. "Do you know why there is a bus here? Like I the parking lot I mean." Grayson asks.

Veronica turns red. "Uh, it's kind of my ride. The driver named Jack, well it's a long story, but he is taking me to Kansas." Veronica grins.

"Cool!" The twins sync. "I know you two are going to Kansas, so if you wanted to you could probably join us?" Veronica asks shyly. The twins nod.

"I'll go get our things Eth." Grayson says, running off. Ethan and Veronica walk towards the bus.

"Jack!" Veronica calls into the bus. "Yes Roni?" Jack smiles. "Mind if Ethan and Grayson join us? They re going to Kansas to." Veronica smiles.

Jack nods and laughs. "Come on in boys." Ethan grabs his bag from Grayson and walks into the bus, only to be tackled by Thumper.

"Oh, that's jacks dog thumper." Veronica laughs, patting his tummy. Grayson gets I the bus too.

"I sleep down the end, you guys can choose wherever." Veronica smiles, walking to the end of the bus.

Ethan and Grayson choose seats not to far away, so they can chat to Veronica.

The bus starts up, and Ethan, Grayson and Veronica chat. Veronica feels great about having some more company.
