The sunset peers through the window that views into the living area. It shone differently than in the cemetery. This time it doesn't illuminate dead leaves but the face of happy beings, living being.

Hoseok smile lights up the room like the disappearing light and the laughter of the rest fills the silence. I watch from the stairs at the reunion of family, they all seemed so happy. It put a grin on my face to witness them like such, it felt rewarding. The only thing that could make such a moment perfect would be to see the smile of the man I love. He sits there motionless peering at the faces of happiness. He watches the emotion cross the face of those he does not know he loves deeply. He stares at what he can not have, at least not yet.

"Then you fell! Does that ring any bells Jimin?" Jin says hopefully. Everyone stares at the face of the new corpse, he's blank again. His eyes flicker about the males that watch him careful, he shakes his head. Disappoint and sadness replaces the facial expression of them all.

"That's okay!" Taehyung perks up. "Maybe this story will!"

He sounds so cheerful and looks it as he makes himself comfortable on the floor. He begins to the tell the story of the amusement park where they lost Jungkook, laughter spreads about the room again. They all take turns telling stories about him in hopes he can recall one. Once everyone has gone they look my way.

"Perhaps something you'd like to add Hyung?" Hoseok smiles. Jimin eyes flicker to me, he waits for me to speak of memories with him like everyone else but I don't. Jin claps his hand when outrage breaks out. Hoseok and Taehyung prepare to leave, they wish their friend goodbye. Each embrace Jimin in a warm hug he doesn't return, pain spreads across the face of his best friend.

"I'll see you tomorrow?"

I look up to see the warm smile of my best friend. I grin back at his soft features, I assure him he will. For now I will stay until my chaotic mind can finally come to a decision. I wish him and his roommate a goodnight before they slam the door shut to leave the five of us.

"We have a guest bedroom." Namjoon approaches me.

"You know we can't sleep."

He looks down thoughtfully then back to my eyes. "That doesn't mean you shouldn't be comfortable. Should I set it up for you?"

I look to Jimin, he stares out the window to the dark sky. I shake my head, I assure him we can survive the night without a comfortable bed. I did for almost two years and Jimin for two weeks. Two corpse laying wide awake on a bed was not entertaining either. I warned him about hearing noise late at night, I would probably be watching television.

"I brought you a blanket." Jin says in a whisper. He blocks my way from the sofa I destined as my bed.

"We don't get cold."

"I know but...Jimin likes to sleep with blankets. He makes a fuss when he doesn't have one, just make sure he uses it please."

I take the fabric from his arms, it welcomes me. He pats my shoulder and wishes me a goodnight. Now three of us are left in the room, the two brothers and I. Jungkook whispers to his bland brother whose face creates no movement to his words. He smiles sadly before leaning up to place his lips on the forehead. The moment lasts no longer than a few seconds before Jungkook is already climbing up the stairs.

"Why did he do that?"

I turn back to make sure the young boy wasn't there. I can not see him yet that doesn't mean he didn't hear the cold words of his older brother. I walk to sit on the opposite side of the couch from him. I throw the blanket on to his lap, he looks at it.

"Because he cares about you. Cover yourself with that."

The blank he holds in his delicate hands was one that we used ourselves in his bed only weeks before. I had stain it with my tears on one of the many nights it laid above us.

"Is it to keep warm?"

"It is."

"I don't want it."

He pushes it off his lap. The fabric hits the floor, not a sound is heard from it's lightness. Jimin's eyes fall back to the window that out looked the home of the neighbor. Their home was illuminated unlike the one we were in. As he did so I approach him slowly, I reach for the blank on the ground. I open it and lay it on his thin body.

"Use it."

He stares at it. "On one condition."

"Just wear it Jimin. Not everything you do needs to have a condition-"

"Tell me a story about us. You're not like them, you're different and I want to know why."

Our eyes meet. I hum in agreement, I would do just that. I could not say no when looking him straight into one of his best features despite them all being great. I dig into my memory from the moment I met him, I consider telling him that story but I decide against it. If there's a memory of him I cherish the most, I want to tell that one.

"This was a little while after we met. You wore a pretty baby blue sweater and I blue button down. It was you who had chosen my clothes and some how we ended up matching." I chuckle at the memory of his offended face when accused of doing so. His innocent feature prevailed all the others as he held up his free hand and claimed it was unintentional.

"Did I really do that?" He looks down at my shirt, it was the same color as his. A plain black meant for nothing else but lounging. I nod my head and continue.

"We were at a festival, you were eating cotton candy as you asked me to go visit the petting zoo. We had a bit of an accident there...I wasn't happy about it. You simply laughed it off and we approached a metal railing to out look a lake. The night was gorgeous...just like you."

I stop talking. He doesn't say anything, just stares.

"I think we should end the story there." I say as I feel my insides be crushed by his empty stare.

"Your story was least entertaining. Probably the worst." He says then turns his gaze back to the window.

Little does he know that night was perhaps the best of my undead life.
