Bright lights are shone into the eyes of the dead man besides me. His hand squeezes mine from the odd feeling he gets at looking at the colorful candy being rolled up by a man in a cart.

"What is that?" He asks amazed from the substance a little girl shoves into her mouth and screams out in pure joy. I feel bad for bringing him here first but it was one of his favorite thing, too bad he can't he eat it no more.

"Cotton Candy. On the night we came here about a year ago you ate one."

With a tug of my hand I pull him away from the small crowd awaiting their turn for the sweet. I continue on to walk where I've wanted to take him for so long. As we walk hand in hand his eyes look around the carnival happily from all the lights. It added it to the few times his eyes didn't look so dead.

"Look Yoongi!" He points to a woman throwing darts to attempt to win a prize. He was smiling so wide I couldn't stop myself from pinching his cold cheeks.

"We'll go later, come on I want to show you something first."

We are so close I can almost hear our voices that night. It was right after the petting zoo and he was giggling at the actions of the stupid animal that had pulled my arm out of it's socket. The walk to that same part of the metal railing consisted of him muttering sounds of amusement as his eyes danced about the happy setting.

My eyes land on that one special place where everything changed. I can see our bodies that night smiling under the moonlight right after confessing, then the kiss that followed.

"Why are you smiling?" He asks softly, his eyes looking between me and that one special spot I stare at. I don't answer him, simply lead him to the same place he stood on about a year ago. Once he's there I hold his shoulders and stare at the beauty before me. Nothing much has changed.

Sure he no longer breathes, his skin is paler, colder, and his cheeks don't light up like a Christmas tree yet he managed to light that spark within me no one else has ever.

"Have we been here before?" He whispers, his eyes wandering about the setting until they land in the direction we had came from that lovely night. I hum in return, not saying anything as I pull him closer into my embrace.

"That's the way we came from the only time we've been here. You were laughing cutely while I complained because on of the animals had pulled my arm so hard it fell out of place. It was the funniest thing in the world to you, as you giggled about it you led us here...Here where I-"

"Where you told me something important right?"

I nod my head. "That's right."

The water's movement in the lake were subtly from the flight breeze.

"After I said that important thing, you responded, I did this..."

I repeat my actions of that night to which he reciprocates. I feel like I'm back to that magical night with the lovely moon shining down on us and the chatter of those around us blocked out. When he pulls away I expect to be slapped right back in the cruel reality I live in but that doesn't happen. His eyes stay with mine and a small smile is formed on his lips to keep me lured in.

"Was this the night you...said 'I like you' and I responded with..." He looks down for a brief second. "I said, 'I like you too dead boy' after making myself look like a complete fool."

He remembered.

"Yeah! That's exactly what you said! You remember Jimin, do you?!"

He nods his head frantically just before engulfing me into a tight hug. I can't help but laugh from happiness as he continues to say what happened after. Joy overfilled me from the tone of his  voice.

He's back.

"Isn't it so funny how he's matching with?!" Jimin giggled at the bear in his hands. Like one year ago I promised to win him a teddy bear which tonight happened to be the same color as our attire.

"It is but you've got to keep quiet." I whisper. "We don't want that lady coming out again."

He nods his head and holds the bear close while I open the gate for him to step back into our friend's property. The sun was rising and so would they soon.

"Yoongi." He stops in his tracks. Confused I furrow my eyebrows and follow his index finger. On the porch a figured leaned against the house, a cap on their head. I approach the mysterious person first while Jimin follows close behind. It is not until up close that I realize who it is.

"About damn time you get back!"

"What the hell are you doing here Jooheon!?"

My friend pulls me into a quick hug before he greets Jimin who I send inside. Reluctantly he enters the home and closes the door behind himself. I take a seat on the chairs with my other dead friend, there I interrogate his sudden appearance.

"Listen, it was important."

"How did you even know to come here?"

"Hoseok, he's here too." Jooheon points down the street. "He's with Sol, they got tired of waiting for you so they went to walk the dog."

I nod thoughtfully, I knew they didn't get tired. "Okay, what happened now?"

"Another deceased fell, voluntarily too. He died not too long after Jiyoon."

I try to seem surprise by the news but I really am not. After much analyzation of my female friend's case I predicted this. The little hope with in me vanishes as he takes out his phone and forces a sigh.

"Another one isn't it?"

We rise from our spots and head to where my other two dead friends really were. The walking the dog excuse was one I didn't believe and I was right not to. Their faces seem paler than usual as Jooheon and I approach the grave being re-dug. Besides that pile of dirt laid a man, one I use to know. We don't say anything to each other as we stare into the face of actual death. In unison we lift the limbs of our old friend and toss his decaying body to where it belongs.

I bid my friend a silent goodbye, in my head I thank him for the good and bad times. It saddens me to know we could not share another conversation let alone see him moving one last time.

"Goodbye Hyung."

Dirt is thrown on his body. Soon his figure is buried under the secret filled soil, it bids us all goodbye but not for long since it'd soon be covering us. The man it lays on was one to leave the world of the living not too long before me. Soon it'd be that same soil on that same ground that would be covering us all, me first than everyone.

I know I'm next.
