"So, this is the living room," our relator, Marie, announced. She was one of my aunt's friends and had offered to help Ricky and I out. She was really nice and was Aunt Addy's best friend.

"I like it already," Ricky announced as she walked into the small space. The walls were a dark shade of red, which is probably the reason he liked it. Dark and depressing were practically our middle names.

"Is the whole flat as awesomely colored as this?" I questioned excitedly. We had been looking at places all day and they were all painted in those crappy generic tans.

"I believe so," she replied with a grin. Being my aunt's best friend, she knew me and my liking for dark things. Most realtors would've been appalled that we actually liked this, but thankfully not Marie.

"Awesome," I murmured happily. This dat had been pretty boring up until now. We just wanted a nice place to live and we had to go through all this shit to get it.

"The kitchen is over there and the bedrooms and bathroom are down that hallway," Marie told us, gesturing to the different parts of the flat. I had to admit that other than the color of the walls, the flat had a lot going for it. It had a really open floor plan so that I could see into the kitchen from my spot in the living. The room wasn't huge, but it was big enough. We wouldn't even be home all that often with touring. We just needed something big enough so we wouldn't kill each other, but affordable.

After taking a look at the kitchen, which was small, but big enough since neither of us were big chefs, we went into the bedroom. "This is the master bedroom," Marie told us as we walked into the room. The room was pretty spacious and the walls were a dark gray. I was literally in love with the whole apartment.

The second bedroom was pretty much the only brightly colored room, which made sense for us. It would become the nursery so dark colors might not be best for a baby. The room was painted a light shade of pink. "I believe the couple before had a little girl," Marie explained. The flat was seriously perfect for us.

"So, what do you guys think?" Marie questioned when we had seen the whole thing. It was a silly question since we knew how we felt about it.

"I really love it," I responded with a grin. Ricky nodded in agreement from me. Thankfully, he was on the same stage as me. I could really see us living in that flat for a long time.

"Does that mean this is the one?" she questioned with a grin. I think she was just happy we actually found something we liked. We both nodded again. "I'll talk to the owner of the building and see how low I can get the rent, then," she added. Everything seemed to be falling into place perfectly.

"You know, we never talked about names," Ricky pointed out. He was attempting to put together the crib we had brought, but it wasn't going too well. Watching he was like entertainment.

"We're not naming her something really girly," I replied. It was actually quite funny that he mentioned names because I was currently sitting on the floor looking up names on my laptop. "How about Cameron?" I suggested, scrolling through the list of neutral names.

"I like that. Cameron Olson. What about the middle name?" he responded as he screwed in another nail into the crib. He looked so concentrated that it was cute. He was making this little face that was adorable.

"How about...uh...how about Taylor?" I responded. I really like the way it sounded. Cameron Taylor Olson. It was something she wouldn't despise if she ended up being like me, but wouldn't mind if she did end up being girly.
