Chapter 27

"Now Camilla, what happened to you last night? What did you feel?"

Camilla stiffened and she looked around the room. Standing there were the Weasleys, Tonks, Cedric and Harry.

"Can i talk to you in private Remus? Please?" She whispered to him. "Of course. Arthur, if you don't mind, we should talk alone for her to tell me"

It took about a second for Arthur to understand and nodded. "Oh yes. Come on now everyone! You heard the man!"

Cedric walked towards her. "Are you alright?" He asked while holding her hand. "Yes" he nodded before squeezing her hand and closed the door behind him.

Remus pulled out his wand. "Silencio"

Camilla let out a breath and looked at the wooden table. "So Camilla. Can you tell me now what happened?" She took a breath before nodding.

"I-i think something's gonna happen Remus"

"And why is that?"

She looked at him with teary eyes, "because i've seen it" he made a hard look and nodded, gesturing for her to continue.

"A-and i felt electricity running through these veins" she held her hand and press her finger on her skin. "I don't know why i have this. It's like a curse to me. It acts up when i feel in danger. Like it only shows up when i face t-them"

Remus holds his hand together and leaned on the table. "You have that ability for a reason. It's a gift"

Camilla shook her head. "It's a curse"

Remus sighed, "would you mind telling me what you saw?"

"I think something's gonna happen that involves with running, fire, running through tall grasses"

She then quickly looked outside the window and her eyes widened.

"Camilla? What is it dear?" She frightfully turned to Remus. "I-i think it's gonna happen h-here"

She started to panic. "Calm down Camilla. We'll be okay. Thanks to you, we have a heads up"

"And about your ability, Dumbledore asked me to train you which I haven't done when he told me"

"That's not all Remus"

He put his hands inside his pockets and listened to Camilla. "It involves a wolf, Harry and Dumbledore"

Remus stiffened and just looked at her. "A wolf?"

"I don't know. I just saw one"

Then silence filled in the air. Camilla stood up, "i need some air"

Camilla was about to turn the door knob when Remus spoke.

"Darkness is coming Camilla. There is something already happening out there. Always be careful in making decisions. And most importantly keep your loved ones close and stay safe"

She held the door knob and squeezed it. "What if most of them are not here? But already up there?" She pointed up with her lip pursed and eyes teary.

"I think they're already gone professor. You all couldn't find them"

"Don't lose hope Miss Devonshire. Do you want them gone?" Camilla couldn't help but let her tears fall out of her eyes.

"Of course not but they've been unseen for so long that there is a possibility that they are already-"

"Don't think like that" Camilla shook her head and wiped her tears. "If you excuse me professor"

Camilla then quickly walked outside, her head down and ran outside of the burrow.

Camilla kneeled down and cried. Back in the burrow, Cedric saw Camilla storming out of the kitchen.

He stood up and he made eye contact with Tonks. "Go. She needs you right now" Tonks told him with sympathy in her eyes before they went to their love of their life.

Cedric ran through the tall grasses but couldn't find Camilla. Then he heard crying down the pond. He walked towards it and saw her.

Cedric saw the girl who he fell in love with. The girl who he knows that is strong and independent. The girl he always admire her angelic face and her for being her.

It breaks his heart seeing and hearing her cries. Cedric quietly sat down beside her and looked up at the sky which was blue and had fluffy looking clouds.

"Go away whoever you are" she said in a cracking tone. Cedric saw a pebble and threw it in the pond. "It's a beautiful day love. You shouldn't cry"

Camilla didn't make any sound but just rested her head on her knees.

"I don't know what happened in there but i want you to know that i'm always here for you"

Camilla moved her head and Cedric finally took a good look at her. That innocent yet strong face was now broken. Her eyes were red and her nose was also red. Her cheeks had a hint of pink and her ears were red.

"I feel so lost. I don't even know what to do with my life after Hogwarts."

"Be with me" Camilla's eyes widened and looked at Cedric.

"W-what?"

"Be with me. I want you by my side Camilla. I can't stand it when i can't see you for at least a minute. I want to wake up everyday next to you and take care of you. And to live your life to the fullest. And i wanted to be part of that. To make you happy because i freaking love you so much. You have no idea on how much i think of you everyday."

This time, Cedric was now closer to Camilla and told her that and looked at her in the eye.

Camilla was speechless but instead she wrapped her arms around his neck and rested her head on his neck and cried. She was on Cedric's lap and he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"So what do you say love? Want to live with me after you graduate?"

Camilla looked at him. She placed a hand on his cheek and kissed him. Cedric kissed back. Their kiss was passionate that the two were longing for from each other.

"Is that a yes or a no?" Cedric joked. "Seriously? This was supposed to be an emotional moment" Camilla said.

"I would love to Cedric but" she looked down and played the collar of his shirt.

Cedric looked at her, waiting for her to continue. "I can't say yes right away. I still need to think about it. I mean, i can stay at my home for a few months. I know i said that it feels unsafe but it's home. I think no one can go in and Booky is gonna be there"

Cedric felt disappointed. "You can just tell me if you don't want to" He said then looked away.

"No. Cedric that's not what i meant" Cedric held her arms softly and he slowly stood up. "What are you doing?"

"I'm sorry love. I'm sorry if i'm going too fast. But i just want to take care of you"

This time, Camilla stood up, "i'm not some damsel in distress Cedric! I can take care of myself!" She retorted angrily.

Cedric just looked at her with a hard face. "Do you really love me?" He asked. "Because if you do, then i'm happy. I'm happy that i'm the person who gave you hope that you can believe in it. Tell me Camilla, am i just wasting my time?"

That hit Camilla straight in the heart. There were no words that would come out of her mouth but instead, tears were flowing down her cheek.

Cedric sighed and walked towards her. He cupped her cheek and wiped away her tears and kissed her forehead. Then just like that, he apparated.

Camilla suddenly fell down on the ground and held her head, crying. "Don't leave" she whispered before she heard Ginny calling out for her name.

"Camilla! What happened?! Where's Cedric?!"  Ginny helped her up. "He left"
