Why doe everyone think Vern is so underappreciated? Of course nobody has a crush on him like they do the other boys, Vern is dorky and 'pathetic' you're not supposed to be in love with him. The movie wasnt made for teenage girls to crush on them anyways, its a coming of age movie for boys. Chill
