I'm really new to the 80's fandom (is that even what I'm supposed to call it help) and I have a minor obsession with Christian Slater. I'm trying to watch as many of his movies as I can, but so far I've loved untamed heart, bed of roses, heathers, and pump up the volume. My problem is, my friend thinks I'm crazy for it. I know its weird because he's literally as old as my dad but he's SOOO cute, and I love his newer stuff, like Mr. Robot. I wish he had some good fics too, BC most of the time they are titled Christian Slater, but are actually about JD, which is kind of annoying.

Also I think you should stick to watching whatever you want and don't listen to your friend in the nicest way possible. I totally understand being obsessed with someone and not finding any fanfics about that person which totally sucks.
