“Ray Ray…is that you?” He heard a familiar light voice from behind him.
Slowly turning around, he saw … Lesley.
The whole room went silent when she walked in.
“Is that Lesley?” Roc whispered to Ray behind him,
Nodding, he swallowed loud.
“Lesssleeeey, lesley, Lesley” Anita’s baby cousin screamed breaking the tension.
“Gabby! Baby” she smiled down at her and gathered her from Ray Ray’s arm.
Without looking into his eyes, she quickly whispered “Hello” and walked off.
“Damnn, i mean..DAM.” Princeton and Prodigy exclaimed.
“What?” Ray Ray said.
“You know what brother. She’s hot as hell. Who would have thought a little hispanic mamacita would have caught Ray’s eyes?”
“She aint catch no one’s eye. Especially not mine.” He said, finally recovered.
“Yeah whatever, you’ll be dancing to another tune by the end of the night.”
Yeah…that’s what i’m afraid of, He thought.
“Did you see how Ray Ray, Roc, Princeton EVEN Prodigy look at you when you got Gabby!?
Oh my god girl” Anita and Sonny said after the scene.
“It was no different way then before, so hush” Lesley mumbled and looked away.
“Yeah right, you and i know it’s true.”Sonny said and leaned over.
“That what is true?”
“You and Ray Ray have something for each other.” She said with a evin grin.
“NEGATIVE.” She said and snickered.
“Yeah…okay.”
“Whatever, i’m out of here.” She got up and exit for the room.
“OUCH.” She heard a familiar voice as she bumped into someone.
“Oh my god, i’m sorry…” She suddenly stopped talking and looked into Ray Ray eyes.
“Lesley.” He sighed. “I was trying to get away from you, Hide.”
“Why?” She whispered and lean over.
“Because, you scare me.”
“I-I scare you? How?”
He leaned over and whispered also “You give me hope. You make me feel like i can dance forever”
She grasped then felt his arms; sweeping her onto the dance floor.
“Ray, No.”
“Why not, Lesley?” He said.
“Because you’ll regret this.”
“I Won’t,” He said and pulled her closer.
“Don’t regret this.” She replied.
And they dance…until daylight.
