Chapter 6: The Crash

As we walk out the door (after the kiss) I look up at Hunter and catch him looking at me.

I let go and simple look at him. he looks at me with a bewildered look, as if I had just slapped him. As I turn around to leave, Hunter grabs me by the arm and pulls me back towards him hard enough so that I collided into his chest.

"Oh, I'm...... I'm so sorry." He says as I back away a little. " I tend to rush into things without thinking...." He said as he trailed off into a thoughtful gaze.

I just stand there staring at Hunter, and then, I felt someone grab my wrist, and as I turn to see who it is, I see Mavrick standing there staring at me.

" Excuse me, but what do you think your doing?" I hear from behind me. As I turn around to see who said that, I feel a tight tug to my arm. I look back at Mavrick to see that he was pulling me.

"Bro what in the hell are you, doing?" I say to Mavrick with an annoyed look on my face.

"I knew you weren't with that guy. I mean I could totally see it all over your face, so now I'm just making sure he's not going to try and hurt you. I saw that when he slammed you into his chest!" Mavrick said with anger in his voice directed toward Hunter.

"Now, is that how you treat a lady? Because if so, then you don't deserve one and you won't get a one!" Mavrick said with a snap.

" Look, I'm about to bust your as......" Hunter yelled. I gave him a look of frustration, making him trail off. "Ok Mavrick, there is no need to jump to conclusions, alright? No we're not together, but I'm not hurting her. I was apologizing for being to quick." Hunter said with a calm and serious voice.

"Well I don't know about you two, but I have a class to get to." I say as I walk away. Hunter jogged to catch up to me.

" What class do u have next?" he asked with a tone of curiosity in his voice, like he was trying to forget what just happened.

"Art. I'm pretty sure Faith has it with me too, what about you?" I asked him seeming like I didn't care that much.

"Oh, I have history". Hunter sighed with a disappointed gaze in his eyes. As I turn the corner separating from Hunter, I got slammed into by a some what tall girl with red hair that look like a cloud from the crash.

"Oh, I'm so sorry!" She said with tears streaming down her cheeks. I stared at her as she got up and ran to the bathroom. I struggled to stand, so Hunter took the opportunity to pick me up. I simple thanked him and followed after the girl.

As I approach the bathroom I could hear sobbing, so I quietly slide the door open and swiftly went in.
