I guess when I was in the car I fell asleep because the next thing I know we're still driving, but instead of me in the passenger seat I was in the drivers seat.

For a second, I freaked, but then I realized that this "seat" had a heart beat and was really warm.

As I looked up, I see that I was sitting in Hunter's lap while he was driving.

I felt so comfortable and safe in his lap that it was sad. I mean yeah it was really awesome, but I shouldn't feel comfortable, let alone safe, in HIS lap. Especially not after everything I found out and the fact that he practically kidnapped me.

At that moment, I realized that I still didn't know where we were going.

The road we were driving on was surrounded by woods. It was peaceful with the little sprinkle of rain that coated our surroundings like a light wet blanket.

As I stared out the window, I started to wonder in my own thoughts and didn't realize that there was a soft and warm hand on my lower back that was slowly moving up and down in a soothing motion.

When I did finally realize it, I was starting to close my eyes again and that was because I then felt bare skin on mine and it felt so good.

As I snuggled up to Hunter because of a sudden cold chill that coursed through my body, the car started to slow down and then it came to a stop after we took a turn.

"Do you want to stay here, or go in the cabin and sleep in a really comfy bed with me?" Hunter's voice rumbled in his chest, low and soothing.

"I don't know..." I said in a sleepy voice.

"Ok," as he picked me up, I wrapped my legs around his waist and rested my head on his shoulder.

He swiftly carried me to somewhere in the dark. I didn't really question anything because at the moment I honestly didn't even care. All I knew was that I was being cared and the person who was carrying me felt perfect for me and I just didn't want it to end.

As we walked into a building, Hunter closed the door behind him with his foot and then walked up a set of stairs.
