As I walked through the front door of the school building, 3 days later, I realized people were still unfamiliar with the place.

Well, as I turned the corner to my locker I saw someone standing there leaning against it. They seemed a little beat up, like they got into a fight. At the same time I felt like I should run to this person and just baby them and have them tell me everything that happen.

As I started to walk faster the person slowly turned their head and I realized who it was. It was Hunter.

"OH MY GOD! WHAT HAPPEN?!" I screamed running down the hall toward him and into his arms.

"I got into a fight with this douche!" he whispered to me as he stroked my hair. All I could do was look up at him. How could he have already made an enemy on the fourth day of school?

"How? What happen?" I groaned wanting him to just tell me everything.

"The guy was being a total jerk." Hunter said as if to cover up the fact that he was a little beat up and that I was still standing there in his arms.

"But Hunter..."

"I know. I can see that I have bruises Amber. Look I did it because he was bad mouthing someone I deeply care for." He whispered into my ear, cutting me off.

"Well this person isn't great enough for you too put yourself into danger!" I fumed with annoyance and jealousy because I knew he was talking about defending some girl.

"But this girl isn't just some girl, Amber. This girl means the world to me." He said, only making me infuriated. I pushed away from him and just entered the code into my lock.

"Amber..."

"No, I don't care, I know you have your eyes set on someone else. No need to continue." I blurted out, cutting him off.

"No Amber...it's you I was defending, not some other girl." His eyes were pleading for me to go back into his arms and so I did. As I looked up at him he started to go in for a kiss, but I just simply stepped back and said, "No, not here, not now." As he looked at me in confusion, I look at the clock down the hall, realizing I already missed my first class.

'Well, why not just ditch?' I asked myself before looking up at Hunter with a devilish smirk.

"Oh no, what are you thinking?" Hunter asked with a scared, yet playful look on his face.

"Lets go! Your a bad boy, and I want to ditch, so we are the perfect pair." I said to him as I grabbed his wrist so that he really didn't have much of a choice.
