later that day...

We arrived back on campus in the evening. Holding hands, we entered the dorm building. As we headed to the elevator, I kept looking up at him just trying to read his facial expression. To see if he was as nervous as I was.

"Are you nervous?" I asked him curiously. He shook his head and smiled at me.

"Why would I need to be nervous? He is your best friend, I'm sure he's a great person. I mean anyone who has to put up with you has to be pretty amazing," He joked.

"Hey," I shouted as I playfully slapped his chest.

"I'm kidding," He laughed.

The elevator opened and we started heading toward the door. "Do you think he'll like me?" He asked me.

"He already thinks you're hot. I'm sure he'll like you." We got to the front of the door and I knocked on the door. "Just, don't try too hard. Be yourself."

The door unlocked and opened. "Hey, Avi," Mitch pulled me in for a hug. He pulled away and looked at Scott with a smile. "And you must be Scott, it's so good to finally be able to meet you,"

"You too," They smiled at each other. We walked into the dorm and sat down on the couch. I sat extra close to Scott almost as if I were on his lap. "You know, Avi has told me a lot about you,"

Scott looked at me with a smirk. "Really?"

"Maybe once or twice," I interjected trying to mask my smile.

"Try a hundred times," Mitch joked causing us all to laugh. "I'm just so happy that my best friend finally has a boyfriend," At the mention of the word boyfriend, we both looked at each other. I couldn't tell what Scott was thinking or feeling but I knew it was positive.

"I'm so glad he's my boyfriend," Scott replied smiling at me. "I love him so much," I hid all my excitement behind my smile and a kiss I planted in his cheek. "And I'm sure he loves me too,"

"Yes, I do,"

"You guys are so cute together," Mitch's smile grew making mine grow too. "I'm so happy you're finally official."

"Me too," Scott replied still looking at me with a smile. "Isn't that right, Avi?" I nodded. He knew exactly what he was doing.

I got up and stared heading to the kitchen. "I'm getting myself a drink, do y'all want anything?" I asked them.

"Just bring a bottle of wine over," Mitch suggested. I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. I pulled out a bottle of red wine and placed it on the table.

"Avi," I turned around and saw Mitch.

"Oh, hey," I continued what I was doing and brought three wine glasses. "What's up?"

"You're so lucky,"

"How so?"

"You have the worlds hottest boyfriend,"

I smiled at him calling Scott my boyfriend, "Thanks," I began pouring wine into each glass. "He's too good for me. I don't even know why he likes me."

"There are so many good things about you that he could be attracted to. Or maybe it could be something else,"

"Like what?"

"How should I know? I'm not your boyfriend," He laughed slightly.

"Do you want to know something? Today was the first time he called me his boyfriend."

"Really?" He questioned, surprised.

"And the first time he mentioned loving me,"

"Avi, he wants to be serious,"

"I know, I know and I'm just...I'm just a little scared. He's my first boyfriend. I don't really know what I'm doing."

"Well, just be yourself. Thats why he loves you. And remember I'm always here for you."

"Thanks, Mitchy,"

He stretched his arms out for me to hug him. I hugged him back, holding him tightly. "Anytime, Avi,"
