"Hey, Avi. Wait up!" I heard Aiden shout from behind me. I slowed down my steps and he caught up to me. "Hey," He started breathing heavy for a while. "I just wanted to apologise for what happened last week. It was immature and dumb of me,"
"It's fine, don't worry about it," I reassured him and hugged him. "Let's just put it behind us."
"Alright," He smiled at me. "By the way, I wanted ask you something. It's a little important."
"What is it?"
"My art final is coming up and I need someone to help me with my piece. Could you help me?" He politely asked.
"I mean sure but I know nothing about art. I don't know how I'd help,"
"I just need you to pose for me. That's all." He clarified. "Can you do that for me?"
"Sure, I guess. Do you want to do this, now?" I further questioned. He nodded. "Ok. Let me just put my stuff away and I'll be back down,"
I walked into the dorm building and up the elevator. The doors opened and I headed to my dorm. I didn't know what I was getting myself into but I was going along with it anyway.
I entered my dorm and saw that Mitch wasn't there. He must have been at a lecture or something. I sent him a text telling him where I was going. I put my bag down and head back out to Aiden.
"Ready?"
"Yeah," We began walking through the campus. "So where exactly are we going?"
"An art studio," He answered my question. I was a little bit weary of posing in front of people. "Don't worry we'll be alone. No one is ever in the studio at this time." He added, making me feel a little better.
We arrived. We entered this large room full of canvases with unfinished artwork on them. On the walls were these massive murals, covered in an array of colours. I was in awe of its perfection.
I followed him into a smaller room where he had a whole step up with roses and a backdrop. There were tall lights surrounding it. Fake roses up and down the walls. A white table and seat with real roses in a vase and a glass of wine.
He looked at me trying to get a response. "This is nice," I finally spoke. "So, do I just sit here?" I asked him.
"Actually," He rushed into another room and came back into the room holding a pair of white shoes and a white outfit on a hanger. "Could you put this on?"
"O-Ok," I hesitantly responded as I took the items from his hands. I walked into another room and changed into the all white outfit. It was a white turtleneck and jeans. Everything fit surprisingly.
I walked back into the room he was in. The way he looked at me was as if he was in awe of me. I walked over to the set and sat on the chair. He watched me as I did so. "I-I'll go get the camera," He stuttered as he went to go get his camera.
He quickly made it back into the room. "Now, all I need you to do is interact with the items. Maybe pick up a rose and smell it or drink from the glass. Your call," He informed me and I nodded.
I looked at the wine glass and traced my finger around the rim of the glass. He took the first photo. I picked up the glass and drank from it. He took another. I took one rose out of the vase and observed it. I stared at it intensely. I held it up to my nose and smelled it. I began taking petals off the flower in a lazy like manner. I picked up the wine glass again and drank from it.
I took another rose and held onto it. I rested my head on the table. I looked directly into the camera, flashing an innocent look. He continuously took pictures of me. "Alright, I think I have enough for now," He told me with a smile. I sighed in relief and stood up. "Thanks, Avi,"
"You're welcome," I replied as I walked into the other room to change back into my own clothes.
"Hey, Avi?" I heard him call out from behind the door.
"Yeah?" I responded.
"Would you like me to send you the photos?" I walked out of the room, back to where he was. "All I need is your number,"
"Give me your phone," He dipped his hand into his pocket and pulled out a phone. I typed my number into it and handed. it back to him. "I'll see you around," I began to leave the building.
"Bye, Avi,"
