I was surrounded by lightning...
It was everywhere, all around me and I couldn't stop it.
I had no idea where it was coming from, so I ran.
I sprinted as fast as I could, but no matter where I ran or what direction I took, I couldn't get away.
It was then that I realized where the lighting was coming from..
It was coming from me....
Panicking I tried to control it, thrashing back and forth to escape the powerful bolts of light projecting from me.
But it was no use, I couldn't stop it.
Instead of filling me with energy it was taking every drop it could grasp.
I felt it pulling me into darkness.
One last surge of lightning exited my body before I fell to my death.
I bolted out of my sleep to the sound of thunder.
I tried to slow down my heart rate knowing that if I didn't my heart would burst of of my chest from the panic attack I was having.
Even though I knew it was only a dream something told me it was real.
That I had experience all of it before.
It seemed to be more of a memory than a nightmare, maybe both.
I looked at the clock on the nightstand next to me.
6:00
School started at 8:00 so there was no point in going back to sleep.
I hopped out of my bed and went to turn on the shower.
I stripped of my tank top and underwear and pull the shower curtain open and got in.
Cold water hit my back washing away all of the sweat from my previous dream.
I've always preferred cold showers.
I washed my hair with raspberry shampoo & conditioner and my body with my favorite vanilla scrub.
After shaving almost every part of my body I turned the water off and hopped back out.
By then it was 6:40 leaving me about 45 minutes to finish getting ready.
I wrapped a peach towel around my body and walked back into my room.
I grabbed a black strapless bra and matching lacy panties and quickly slipped them on.
I went back to the bathroom and put some frizz control product in my damp hair.
Then I started to blow dry it.
After about 15 minutes my long locks were finally dry.
I quickly pulled out my makeup bag from under the sink and began to apply eyeliner to my eyes.
I didn't bother putting on eyeshadow since I consider it a waste.
After finishing my top eyeliner I moved on to mascara.
Now here's the tricky part about makeup. Eyeliner, for me at least, is really easy but when it comes to mascara, boy does it take forever.
My eyelashes are extremely long and thick so applying mascara is kind of a struggle for me.
Once I finally finish with my eyes I added a little light blush to my cheek bones and topped it off with some peach lipgloss.
I exited my bathroom and went into my fairly large walk-in closet.
