When I got home from training with Alex, I could feel my legs failing.

He had made me train so hard I could still feel my heart hammering in my chest.

I sat on my bed I and stared at the gigantic book Alex gave me earlier.

He said it would help me to learn more about my kind and other immortals.

I was about to pick it up when I decided I was too tired.

I thought back on what had happened at my training session.

Flashback

"Amara you need to channel all your energy. Let your powers out, trust me, just breath."

" It's harder than it looks Alex!"

" Just try Amara." Alex looked back at me with pleading eyes.

I huffed a fine and closed my eyes.

I let my "powers" inflame my body and a familiar tingling surged through my veins.

The tingling increases until I was completely surrounded in light.

I could feel my body heating up with every push of my mind.

I started to glow and exhaled a breath I didn't know I was holding in.

I pushed my body even further until I was off the ground.

I was now floating in the air, my body rapped in light.

I felt the power inside my body begging to come out and I let it have what it wanted.

As soon as I opened my eyes my body gave into command and lightning bolts surged out of my hands.

The lightning caught the tall grass of the empty field around me on fire.

I was surrounded by a circle of fire as my body kept pumping lightning.

When there was barley any energy left in me I closed my eyes and shut everything off.

The lightning stopped as I dropped to the floor.

The fire that once surrounded me was now gone as I lied on the grassy field, out of breath.

" Good job Amara." I heard Alex say from the side.

Flashback Ends

I was dragged out of my thoughts when someone knocked on my door.

" Who is it?" I chirped.

" It's Katy! Open up! Hurry!!'

I jumped out of my bed and answered the door to see a very excited Katy.

" What's up?" I questioned.

She can in my room jumping up and down and sat on my bed, but then got up because she couldn't keep still.

" Why are you so giddy?" I laughed at her while she bounced of the walls with excitement.

" Well Jakes having another party!" she screeched and I covers my hears from the high pitch of her voice.

" I know you missed the last one cause of..you know.. so um I kinda thought we could pick up where we left off.. yah know the whole plan."

She looked down alittle embarrassed.

I smiled at her and said sure.

Her mood automatically boosted up and she crushed me into a hug.

" Okay well it's tomorrow night so after school lets come back here and get ready, I can try to find a dress but I'll.."

I cut her off before she could continue and told her not to worry cause I had the perfect dress for her.

She smiled and mouthed and ok before telling me she had to go to work.

I nodded and hugged her again before she left my room.

"Ill text yah" she shouted and closed the front door of my house.

I fell back in my bed exhausted and let sleep take over me.

************************************

When I opened my eyes it was pitch black.

I looked over at the *new *clock on my night stand.

Rest in peace old guy..

It read 3:15

Jesus, I was up early!

I didn't feel tired, in fact I felt rather energetic. I decided to go for a run. Don't ask why, I just felt like it.

I put on some spandex and a sports bra with a tight, black, nike jacket and grabbed my running shoes.

I pulled my long curls into a pony tail and walked out.

When I got to the woods by my house I bolted.

I let my legs carry my where ever they wanted to go.

I was going at an inhumanly fast pace as the wind hit my face.

I pushed myself to go faster until I couldn't feel my legs moving anymore.

I was dodging trees and rocks as I ran swiftly through the forest.

I picked up my pace, if that was even possible, and jumped up and grabbed onto a branch of a tree.

I swung my self up and pushed my feet off, jumping into the air.

I landed on my feet and took off running again.

I was I housing the rush when my ears picked up a soft sound of flowing water.

I stopped running and listened for the sound again.

When I caught the faint hum of flowing water, I followed it.

When I found what I was looking for I froze.

It was absolutely beautiful.

There was a small stream that grew larger as it flowed over large rocks like a waterfall until it reached a small lake, that looked about 6ft deep.

There was colorful trees scattered here and there and the autumn leaves hung beautifully around the forest ground.

It was absolutely breathtaking.

I had the sudden urge to feel the water on my skin.

I stripped of my clothes and dipped into the warm water.

I swam around enjoying myself as my skin glowed under the still dimmed light of the sky.

I was about to further explore my surroundings when I heard a twig snap.

Thankfully the sound was at least 50ft away from me.

I got out of the water quickly and put my clothes back on.

I ran towards the sound, making sure I was silent until I stopped in my tracks.

About 30ft in front of me was a huge black wolf.

He was gigantic, at least 8ft tall.

The wolf walked around happily, oblivious of my presence.

I don't know how, but I knew it was Clay.

He was a gorgeous sight.

Knowing that he would sense me, I quietly left.

When I was far enough away, I sprinted back to the woods near my house.

I got back around 4:30.

I ran to my room and plopped down on my bed.

I grabbed the huge book off my night stand and opened it up.

I was determined to know everything about me.

And more importantly, him.
