I sat on my bed staring up at my ceiling fan. I watched as the peddles on the fan spun around, my eyes following every move.

After I ran home earlier I took a shower and read through the book to see if I could find any I formation in earther's. Unfortunately the only thing it said about them is that their very rare and that there's only 4 out of 10 in existence at a time.

Feeling overwhelmed, I plopped down on my bed and starred up at the fan.

I soon realized that following the fan blades was giving me a headache. So I stopped looking at them and sat up. I looked around my room and saw a candle laying on my dresser.

Boosted with curiosity, I jumped up and ran around my house grabbing every candle I could find. I took all of them downstairs and into the biggest room in my house.

No one ever used this room anymore. Before my father started multiplying his business, he used it for his work, but now that he travels, he abandoned it leaving it empty and perfect in my case.

It was rather big, almost like a ball room but much smaller. There are two double doors that open up to a large granite floor and long windows draped with heavy curtains. It kinda reminded me of the ballroom in beauty and the beast.

I ran into the empty room and laid the candles all around me. When I felt satisfied, I closed eyes and took a deep breath. I let the warm feeling run through my body until it reached my finger tips. I opened my eyes and shot the flames out towards one of the candles.

It caught fire and crackled a bit from the force. I continued on in a circle, shooting flames carelessly at random candles. When I had reached the last candle, the once dark room was now indulged with bright, flickering light.

I smiled at the sight before me.

I felt powerful, and in control.

Before I could lather into sudden joy, I felt a presence near by. I panicked not knowing what to do. I debated blowing out all the candles but I knew that would take too long.

I could feel the presence getting closer, and with one last thought I pushed my hands out infront of me and begged for the flames to go away. I frantically pushed out my hands, screaming mentally at myself for the loss if control.

When the presence reached the double doors I pushed out my hands as hard as I could and shut my eyes, hoping for the best.

I heard the doors open and I stiffened. I heard Katy faintly call my name and I responded with a yes.

" Ohh hey, I didn't know you were in here."

"It's fine. " I said tightly with my eyes still shut. I was waiting for the ongoing questions about all the candles and my appearance, which was what I assumed to be my vicious flamed hair.

But the question that I did get shocked me to the core.

" Why are you in this huge room in the dark? Kinda creepy Ams."

Dark?

I opened my eyes to find exactly that. All the candles that were once lit were completely out, setting the room back to it's natural darkness.

I stood there flabbergasted at what had just happened.

Did I put them out?

I noticed that Katy was waiting for my response so I turned to her and just shrugged my shoulders.

"It was hot in my room, so I came down here."

I hoped that that was a good enough lie.

I guess she bought it cause she just nodded and told me to follow her cause she wanted to talk to me.
