Chapter 11

As we pulled up to the huge house in front of us, I flipped the car keys over with my fingers and sat back in my seat.

I looked over to Katy, who had a nervous look plastered on her face.

" You okay?" I asked her.

" Yeah I'm just..well..I don't know really, I mean I'm excited but nervous and..well... kinda scared. I know I shouldn't be but I just am. What if he doesn't want to have sex with me, he would have by now if he wanted too, I jut feel like I might not be good enough..." she finished talking and looked down at her feet embarrassed.

I grabbed her chin and forced her to look at me.

" Katy don't worry, you are perfect and if Jake doesn't want you then he's stupid. Don't be nervous you looked fantastic. " I assured her with a soft smile.

" Thanks " she said to me.

" Ready?" I asked an she nodded.

We both hopped out of the car and walked towards the gigantic house that was blasting music.

It was already dark out as we got to the front of the house.

I opened the door and was immediately hit with many different smells.

I still wasn't use to the whole super senses thing.

I walked in with Katy close to me.

We made it to the kitchen and I poured us a drink.

She downed it and went straight for the bottle when I stopped her.

" Katy I know your nervous but you don't want to be drunk right now."

She blushed and mumbled a sorry.

I smiled at her telling her it was fine and poured her another drink, with less alcohol in it.

I finished my drink as soon as jake came into the kitchen.

I watched as he stared at Katy, mouth gaping open with shock.

His stare turned into lust and he pulled Katy to his side.

He whispered something in her ear and she giggled.

" Hey Amara, you don't mined if I leave you for a bit do you?"

" Of course not go, go have fun!" I pushed them away and watched them leave my sight.

I went to pour myself another drink when someone bumped into me.

I dropped my solo cup, liquid falling onto the floor along with it.

" Shit, I'm sorry, ohh.. Amara hey, I didn't know you'd be here."

It was Evan.

" Hey Evan, it's okay, but yeah didn't think I'd see you here either."

" Yah, wow you look great.." he said alittle shyly.

I laughed at him and said thanks.

"Do you wanna dance?" He asked me and before I could say anything and arm pulled me flat against a broad chest.

" No I think she'd rather come with me." Clay said through clenched teeth.

" Ok..um, I guess I'll catch you later, bye Amara." Evan said walking away.

I turned to clay with a glare.

" Do you have to be such a jerk!" I said hitting his well defined chest.

" Your mine, an I don't want anyone touching you but me. " he said huskily in my ear.

I shivered as he led me to the dance floor.
